Chapter 8: a turn
Youyue woke up to see an unfamiliar room but from her analysis this must be the head maid's room.
"what the hell is going on?"youyue softly said.
the door opened and two maids came in dressed in yellow each carrying a tray.
one contained rice porridge and the other was richly cooked food.
youyue doubted if the head maid ate this everyday.
"madam your awake. here's your food. please eat and bestow upon us favor"said one of the maids whom she knew as feifei.
'please drop them and sit down"
but the maids did not obey.
"do i really have to choose?"
youyue stared at the rice porridge-her favorite food. something she could only dream of at night. now it was right in front of her.
"rice porridge"she said.
at once the other maid carrying the richly cooked food left leaving the other who was trying to curry favor with a stunned youyue.
"this world is sure unpredictable.once a servant to servants now the head maid. though it feels good but i don't wanna be someone's toy. well,i'll just forget it and enjoy this undeserved post i received.
