Fred takes out his long range walkie talkie – something his dad made for him when he was young.
"Jack? Do you copy? Jack?"
"Yes, yes, Fred! I hear you! Where are you?"
"I'm somewhere around the borders of Elgoog city. Can you ask someone and tell me which direction I should go in now?"
"I know the exact way from there! Go into the city. You'll find a broken subway whose entrance would be blocked by a huge rock. If you go around it, you can find a hole that you can jump in. Go in there and walk a few metres. You'll find an open manhole. Don't be afraid, it won't be stinky. Turn right and go straight until you see another open manhole cover above your head. Go up the ladder and get out of that drainage. You'll be at Aidats city. Go into the Griseran forest again. A five kilometer walk would bring you here. Wait… You recorded this, didn't you?"
"Inbuilt recorder. Thanks Dad."
"Dad? Your dad's coming too? I'm way too excited right now!"
"Umm… He's not."
"He's not coming? Why? Where is he right now?"
"He's not alive."
"What? How? Oh my God, Fred! I'm really sorry! Are you okay? Fre-"
"Jack, Jack, Jack! Stop already! It's okay! Really! Stop!"
"Okay… Okay…", Jack took a few short and quick breaths. "How did it happen?"
"The final apocalypse. Isn't it obvious though?"
"Oh. Okay. I'm really sorry Fred. I didn't know."
"It's okay Jack. By the way, I found the subway you were talking about. I'm coming to your place."
"Come soon Fred! I'm waiting!"
The underground bunker, Griseran forest, Forvirretia, Planet Dehzahk:
"Fred? Freddy? Are you here?", Geoffrey banged the door. "I'm sorry for what my dad did, Fred."
He knocked the door two more times before he noticed that it was locked. "Where have you gone now, Fred?"
