Chapter 26: Alfheim
Mint mainly left Alfheim business to his emperors to manage, he only came when it included generals and above ranks. For example, the 2 dates he had with the lords, it was actually his underlings wearing masks [or at least that will be the exuse]... they were in the same week and the dates went smoothly... Mint came to congratulate Eugene that he chose to become a marquess so he created quite the solid relationship with those races plus the Imps and Spriggans but his allies don't know about his other allies [damn I just realized he pretty much befriended more than half of Alfheim, meh] Oh and I should probably mention but before Mint started playing Alfheim Kirito already woke up and they had a reunion and stuff so now Mint's copy that he left there is with Suguha, Shino and Kazuto [damn I realized only now his first name is Kazuto so yeah...]
A slight time skip to January the 19th, the emperors already met with their lovers from Sao so that's nice.
It's currently morning and Mint is laying on his bed with electricity in his hands, he's currently just making shapes with it, practicing on the fine-tuning of his powers. After a few minutes of doing that he heard Suguha practicing kendo, he looked out of the window and he saw Kazuto watching her practice, he silently walked near Kazuto from his house as they are practically connected as the only barrier is a couple of nice bushes but there is a clear grass path to their house, so after Mint approached Kazuto he sat down next to him. When finally she noticed Kazuto watching her Mint said "Good morning to you two, nice weather isn't it" Kazuto slipped a bit as he hasn't noticed Mint so he was surprised, after throwing the water bottle to Suguha he whispered to himself "Did Mint keep his hiding skill after he exited Sao or did my senses dull that much for being in a coma?" ignoring the confused Kazuto Mint chatted with Suguha, after talking for a bit Kazuto asked Suguha for a match of kendo, Mint obviously chimed in that he'll battle the winner of the fight...
After Suguha won Mint wore his kendo armor after being pestered by Kazuto and Suguha as he wanted to fight without the armor, Mint held the kendo sword gracefully like a rapier. The summarization of the battle is that Mint dodged mostly and sometimes parried until the 3-minute mark where he struck Suguha's head very lightly to not hurt her too much, she sulked that he hadn't gone serious this whole time, Mint released a small amount of sweat so she wouldn't think he didn't even try, later patting her head after she put down the helmet made her calm down and remember Mint is the world champion [of everything] so she felt proud to be his cousin, Mint entered the house and started making breakfast for them already as he knows they would pester him about making it... After he ate and all that he told them he has to attend to business for today so he will be able to come home only tomorrow around noon, after hugging both of them Mint started walking into his car. The car drove itself to a house about 50 kilometers away, after he entered the house he wore the FullDive suit that was stored in his bag, the FullDive armor can turn into a box for easy transportation so that's nice..., ...After Suguha comforted Kazuto that day she was thinking about Mint instead of how Kazuto's heart belongs to Asuna. Meanwhile, the business Mint is talking about is to make "holes" in his credibility of being blood-related to Kazuto and Suguha, sighs that he was "adopted" and sighs that he avoids all blood tests plus DNA tests, the "holes" seem very small but with a good mind and if someone knows Mint then he could connect the dots to Mint is not related to the Kirigaya family. Oh and Mint changed his DNA a bit so that it would look like he's from a race that was massacred and gone extinct in the recent years...
The next day in the morning, Mint is flying around in Alfheim, in the real world his body is inside the car going back to his house. Mint suddenly stopped and teleported to a high root of Lisardygg that made a little platform, he called Baal, Baal took less than a second to answer the call and when he did Mint smiled, he asked Baal "How's the heart of Shiro doing?" Baal quickly answered "She has already transformed into a <Private Pixie> and she was living in my home. Though you already know that part as you visit her regularly" Baal whispered to himself the last part and continued talking "She's doing great she said, oh and I'm right next to her right now playing some games" Mint nodded at his report and told Baal that after they finish the game then to bring her here...
It took a few minutes but Baal teleported in front of Mint with Shiro, Shiro immediately went for a hug but as she's a pixie she was small so Shiro reverted to her original form to hug him, after the hug, she reverted back to a pixie and sat on his shoulder... After chatting with Shiro and Baal a bit Mint sensed it was time to go so he gave Shiro back to Baal and started using all 5 pairs of wings to fly...
Mint seemingly teleported as 5 sonic booms sounded where Mint floating, Mint already flew over the sea that was between Lisardygg and the mainland, he flew toward the forest near the Sylph territory, he teleported above the heads of 3 salamanders surrounding a Sylph. It was, of course, Leafa and the other 3 salamanders, he put his wings back and landed on his feet loudly, they were all startled of course by the sound so they looked at the source, it was Mint [changed appearence] with a rapier in his hand looking at the salamanders with competent, one salamander shouted "Don't disturb us!" as he slashed at Mint but the salamander suddenly noticed pain, he looked down and saw 5 holes inside his body, 2 to the heart 1 to each lung and another hole went to his spine with the rapier still inside the hole, he screamed for a second before shattering to flames. The others just stared at him wide-eyed as Mint thrust the rapier in his hand toward another salamander, 7 holes appeared at the salamander, in the same places the previous salamander was pierced plus his eyes. The Salamander again screamed for a single second before shattering to flames, Mint looked at the leader without much emotion as he said: "If you make another wrong move that will be you but the holes will be doubled, now scram!" the leader obviously ran away with utter fear, oh and when Mint killed the salamanders the players still slightly felt the pain so they logged out as soon as possible. Leafa looked cautiously at Mint as she asked: "Why did you save me?" Mint replied calmly "Well you see, I have some relation with the Sylphs. Plus you were ganged up on so of course, I would favor your side of the fight." suddenly the Spriggan Kirito fell from the sky, he was delayed previously because he asked for more information from Yui so he knows about remain lights and some more... Mint said as he pointed as Kirito"Forget about it, treats it as he's the one that saved you, I'll just watch as he seems interesting so ignore me for now" Leafa rubbed her head and just nodded slowly, Kirito quickly adapted to the situation but he too rubbed the back of his head...
