Chapter 19: Divine Adamantium Duck
Mint appeared to have a good and relaxing rest when he suddenly received a message that the laughing coffin base has been leaked, he smiled sadistically as they STILL attack his dukes but he restrained himself in order for this operation to begin...
Mint with all the Fiend Emperors met up with the fifty clearers and Kirito to lead the crusade, Mint is using only his 'Soul eater' in this mission. Oh and Mint is level 91 and the emperors are 85
As the crusade gets ambushed Mint summons 21 Bone Devils, Maou summons 2 Goristos, Satan summons 12 bone devils, Anthraxus summons 10 Ultroloths and Baator summons 6 Devourers while with his remaining summons he fuses himself with the hellhound and devourers, there were around 60 laughing coffin members but they were weaker than the clearers.
The Laughing coffin members were terrified when Mint himself charged at them with his scythe, following after him his emperors and all the fiends, Baator suddenly threw a potion into the air that was on fire upwards, when the potion exploded black mist covered all of Mint's charge, their weapons having a black aura, the aura made that no matter the damage they do they will not kill a player so this gives Mint's group the option to use killing moves or overkill the enemies.
All the Laughing Coffing were either dead, captured or low on HP by now so Mint decided to finish his group off by using the Soul Eater skill <Doomsday> as he pierced the ground creating black cracks, from the cracks black tentacles appeared and captured the LC members, to finish the skill Mint's scythe turned black and a black crystal gigantic version of the scythe appeared behind him, he then swung his scythe causing the crystal scythe sliced through every member causing no visible damage at first but soon a black stripe appeared where they got caught, disabling the body parts below the stripe, it would last for a couple of months, they were lucky they didn't get the instant death debuff though...
2 months after Mint annihilated LC he is seen relaxing inside an open-air bath outside the safe area, he was absolutely naked. After he started hearing sounds from outside he saw Lisbeth and Asuna entering the same bath together, Mint acted like he fell asleep of course as it would be awkward to face them naked, they didn't notice him until because he used a hide skill plus all the steam didn't let them see him clearly, him seeing they didn't notice him started sneaking out but when he finally reached got out of the water he made quite a loud sound on purpose and he started running while taking only a brief second to switch to all his normal gear, them being startled froze for a solid second before Asuna shouted 'KIRITO' as she assumed he went to peek on them. When Mint passed through the door he saw Baator and Kirito chatting, he stopped for a second and gave them a thumbs-up before using a teleport crystal, Baator figuring it out easily stepped back and started running using his hellhound form, even tho Lis will probably let him see her naked he doesn't want to be labeled as a pervert. Poor Kirito got accused by Asuna and didn't let him clear his innocence. 3 days after that Mint's elite group celebrated Silica's birthday and stuff...
13 days after that Mint encountered the Divine Adamantium Duck, he quickly killed it with <Doomsday>, Mint set it so this mob will spawn when the ragout rabbit is killed by <Player- Kirito> and it's the best meat you can acquire. He soon after killing the duck and acquiring its meat got a message from Kirito to meet him at Agil's shop, he accepted it, of course, wanting to see the awaited chaos.
At first, Kirito didn't know who could cook the rabbit so he went to Agil to sell it but after talking a bit Kirito suddenly shouted "Mint!" as he immediately requested for him to meet here. Mint soon appeared about 1 minute after he sent the message, Mint said "I was already in town so that's why I came here so quickly" when Kirito started talking he heard Asuna come in so he greeted her, they had their little chat and Asuna asked why Mint is here because usually he's out hunting and barely enters shops as he's the guild master and stuff, Kirito replied "Well I wanted Mint to cook the Ragout rabbit I got un-" he got cut off by Asuna as she exclaimed "Ragout rabbit!? Why didn't you request me to cook it!? there's no way he got his cooking skill is higher than mine!" she never tasted his cooking and considering he's pretty focused on hunting so guessing he only has combat skills is normal... Kirito rubbed the back of his head and said: "I'll be honest when I compared both of your foods in that murder case Mint's food was better..." Mint suddenly said "Why don't you have Asuna cook it, I have a timer to cook a Divine Adamantium Duck which is an SSS-class ingredient." then Mint showed them the item status of it to show it's real, they all were amazed then Asuna said, "How is this possible if you say you can cook using this that means your cooking skill is maxed!?" Mint just nodded and she said, "Then I challenge you to a cooking competition." [stupid I know but meh] Mint accepted as it's interesting and after saying he could transport his kitchen anywhere they all agreed to go to Asuna's house to cook.
After Asuna dismissed Kuradeel they went to her house, Kirito switched to casual clothes that looked like Kirito's casual clothes, after Asuna asked Mint how he transports his kitchen he just smiles and says "Nessus, appear before me!" while clutching the necklace used to teleport to floor zero, A demonic door appeared before him leading to an elegant kitchen, Mint clapped and said "Ok then as I can't bring people in there Kirito you stay with Asuna" Kirito nodded and Asuna was just amazed by the insides of the kitchen, Mint closed the door while leaving and started cooking his own food. After Asuna cooked the ragout rabbit Mint slammed his door open and 3 trays of delicious food carried by 2 Succubi and an Incubus walked out of the door following Mint, after reaching near Kirito he clapped twice and a separate table appeared facing their table, they all ate each other's food completely and after they all finished the roasted duck they gained a stat increase, Asuna accepted defeat and they all chatted away until Asuna suggested to Kirito to party with her, at the end, he said that only if Mint could join them, noticing her tense expression Mint says Maou is busy so he won't be able to party with us if that's what you're thinking, Asuna then readily agreed as she heard Mint might be stronger than Heathcliff and she wants to see it with her own eyes.
Mint is waiting with Kirito for the late Asuna, after hearing the teleport noise Mint sidestepped the flying Asuna that landed on Kirito, Kirito groped her a few times before he almost got slapped, while Asuna moved from Kirito and prepared to slap him Mint grabbed him by his shoulders and pulled him back making Asuna miss Kirito, when they heard another teleportation noise Mint stepped forward while Asuna hid behind Kirito when Kuradeel appeared he talked arrogantly a bit and when he finally starts walking forward to take Asuna back with him Mint stopped him saying "Don't you think it's disrespectful to be such a creep even if your action been right? And anyways Kirito is stronger than you and I am even stronger so please back off" Kuradeel obviously challenged Mint to a duel for such disrespect to himself but before he issued the challenge Mint took off his scythe and pierced the Safe zone protection and sliced his drawn sword in 2, after he did so Mint smiled with clear killing intent and said "I win. Please don't ever try to disrespect me." as Kuradeel is terrified Asuna fired him as her bodyguard, Mint just said "I did this because he was annoying and I saw Kirito wanting to fight this guy so because I could deal with this faster I just did" when Asuna questioned him, she then asked Kirito if it's true, etc. After dealing with all that they started walking towards the dungeon...
