Chapter 16: GeoCrawler
Early in the morning, Satan was already gone from the inn and was standing in a wide flower plain, he was standing there waiting for the other emperor and the Fiend God...
After waiting a bit you could see 3 figures with wide wings landing in various ways, one freefalling down and a second before he hit the ground he opened his wings wide slowing down rapidly, Maou the Demon Emperor, one flying down slowly and calmly while playing a tune on a harp, Anthraxus the Yugoloth Emperor, and the one just diving down while gaining more and more speed by flapping his wings and not slowing down crashing to the ground like a meteorite is the Chaotic Fiend Emperor, Baator. When Baator crashed down Maou gave him a thumbs up and Satan just tsked while Anthraxus is undisturbed...
After waiting a couple of minutes a huge portal appears above the flower plain and from it comes Mint, he floated a bit in the sky until he teleported in the middle of the 4 emperors while saying "Hey there sorry for being late" while rubbing the back of his head, but the emperors just knelt and bowed down, Mint clapped his hands and they stood up and said "Alrighty I see you have gained sentience but kept your obedience... I'll get to the point of this meeting now, it's time the guild will reveal itself once more. The plan is we'll put up a show where before the successful raid against where we will defeat it without putting it to sleep like originally intended with brute strength" the emperors just nod and Mint continued "We shall launch this plan at March the 7th 30 minutes before the original raid will commence. Now go and level up more!" the emperors nodded and they teleported to the floor 56 as that is the highest floor for now.
Mint is level 88 and the emperors are level 81 until the time to fight the Geocrawler...
Mint stood in front of the emperors and said: "The time to initiate the plan has begun!" while he summoned 3 Goristroi [CR 17] {Goristroi had broad, lumbering frames that even among their smallest members stood at 20 feet (6 meters) tall. Their overall structure were somewhat bear-like but their arms were long and wide like the trunks of trees. Because of this, they moved on their knuckles like giant gorillas as they barreled forward. Great muscularity was visible across their entire squat forms. Necessarily wide shoulders carried a massive head reminiscent of a leering bison with carnivorous teeth and giant forward-facing horns. Their hands and feet were giant and splayed yet still humanoid in shape.} these demons are twice as bigger than the boss and are Siege monsters... Mint suddenly said "Ah!" as he realized how easy the boss would be using these demons with himself supporting [the author after looking into the details of them...] so Mint just told the emperors to walk beside him with their masks and robes on to show that they are the higher ranks of the guild.
You could see Mint walking with the 4 robed emperors behind him and the 3 Goristroi too, in the distance you could see the raid party heading out to fight the GeoCrawler only to be startled by the 3 gigantic demons walking towards it that are double the size of the boss, after a minute of walking Mint arrived at the GeoCrawler valley and it spotted them, the raiding party was close enough to see the figures leading these demons so Mint decided to start the fight as he snapped his fingers.
The snap seemingly awakened the Goristroi as they started charging at the GeoCrawler with their horns upfront, the GeoCrawler is seemingly confused but the AI is the one confused as it's supposed to battle only players but now demons twice its size are charging it, the confusion let the Goristroi have a free hit at the GeoCrawler as 2 Goristroi used a gore attack as their horns cracked the armor it is wearing and pierced it and the last one launched it 20 feet into the air using the momentum of the charge, the spectators are watching with open mouths as the boss is launched into the air. [As the author doesn't know much about this boss except that it has a hard front a soft belly the fight will be short] As the GeoCrawler fell to the ground the Goristroi locked its body in place with their hoofs, Mint slowly approached it while taking the scythe off his back and readying a skill, as Mint was close enough for the skill he started charging his skill to higher levels, after 10 seconds of charging the skill in an overhead slash stance and the GeoCrawler straggling to get out of the way of danger Mint shouted <Dragon's Tooth- upgraded version, Tarrasque Tooth> as he pierced the GeoCrawler in the eye shattering all of its armor and cutting it in half from the head to its belly making the GeoCrawler explode into crystals.
The raiding group just stood there dazed as Mint unsummoned the demons until Mint called out to Kirito that snapped it out of him and he started waving towards Mint and saying: "Welcome back to clearing the bosses Mint!" Mint waved back and nodded, while they chatted Maou waved at Asuna back she just looked down in guilt as she remembered the situation on the first floor, after chatting with Kirito a bit Mint and the emperors left by teleportation crystals, it was not until this moment Asuna hardened her resolved and looked at the place where Maou was realizing only now that they left, with embarrassment Asuna led the group to check out the area beyond the GeoCrawler...
