Chapter 9: Interesting
The very next morning the trio left the hotel and found that there was a group of people trying desperately and failing to get into their car, they were about to attack however as they took a step, a young man walked over, dirty blonde hair and light grey eyes, he carried a katana and looked towards the group of criminals "step away from the car" he said coldly as he brandished his blade
"or what? what the hell can you do kid?"
"ten"
"is this kid counting?"
"nine"
"Wow, yeah man he is, he must be stupid"
"eight"
"should we just shoot him?"
"seven"
"Nah, let him finish before we destroy his dreams"

"kid beat it, you can't do shit"

"wow he's actually going through with this"

"shoot the kid" on hearing this order from their boss the group of men opened fire on the boy, he swung his sword cutting every bullet that was about to hit him in half, then he pulled out a pistol and shot the first three men before dashing to the other two and chopping their hands off
The trio stared at the kid, impressed by his ability and walked over to the car
"do I need to kill you too, I told you to get away from the car"
They ignored him and kept walking, Hinata put his hand on the side of the car, as he did the boy's katana slashed out a loud clang could be heard as his katana bounced off
"what the?"
Hinata raised his arm and looked at his new jacket which to his surprise was not torn
"Kid, my arms are metal, your katana won't do shit, someone kinda beat you to the punch with chopping my arms off" he paused to let the boy process then continued "Voice activation, command code lethal collection, scan biological cellular structure and unlock stronghold"
As he said this the car scanned him and unlocked "now I'll be taking MY car and leaving but first"
"first?" the boy asked
Hinata reached into the storage and pulled out an obsidian katana that he made while practicing
"here, that old katana you're using could use an upgrade"
"who are you sir?" he asked as he happily took the katana
"Hinata Bloodrose, my friends here are Lily Jutari and Kiwaseishi Kallinariast
"I've heard of you all, You're a noble, she controls every village in the area and, she's the daughter of the Kallanti Chieftess"
"Guess we're famous," Lily said with a coy smirk
"may I come with you?"
"yeah, we don't have a lot of space in this car, sorry kid," Lily said with a sigh
"wait, but I have an idea" Hinata exclaimed "Kid, how old are you?"
"I'm seventeen"
"old enough to drink huh? alright come with us, we'll get you a drink and discuss something"
After they locked the car back down, Hinata took the other three to a bar and got a private table "alright, we're trying to establish a new order, right? so I'm thinking we establish a base of operations, we can spare a few months or even a year to set it up"
"That's a good idea actually"
"I agree, it would make traveling much easier"
The boy watched as the trio spoke and he drank the beer Hinata bought him "so where exactly do I come into play here?"
"Lily here will find us a decent spot, somewhere that exemplifies everything we want to stand for, I and other people like me will work towards building it and you, you're brave and strong, you'll help us recruit people and you'll run the place for me while I'm gone, it's time I loop you in"
They chatted and explained everything to the boy, after which the boy went out and started recruiting people to help build the place and run it, meanwhile Hinata and Lily went out to find the perfect spot and Seishi went to the Capital with the insignia that Hinata gave her to the royal palace to sort out the legalities
"This spot looks perfect" Lily exclaimed, they were standing in a massive open grove by the side of a mountain, the area had a lake with a river down a pathway covered by the tops of the trees and nearby stood a waterfall
"I agree, I already have the perfect idea in mind for our new village"
The duo went back to the city they had been in and found that Liz was already there and had agreed to make their village official as well as give it direct contact to the capital and high ranking, and had brought people with the powers that she felt would help build their little hideaway, everyone got together and went back to the grove, The nature users, made a pathway through the trees to the grave from the road but kept the leaves above the path to give it constant shade and the metal and electricity users helped the electricians set up lights along the path, dim ones that gave it the vibe they wanted of old school and ancient traditions that valued nature, next Hinata and other earth users, as well as other users of the various different elements, worked to create a large base right inside the mountain, the main area of the base was inside the mountain with only the front of it outside and some of the top parts sticking out over the side and built houses for people to live in the houses were all simple yet elegant and perfectly emobodied the idea of a people who valued nature above all else.
Houses were also set up near the lake which led out into the ocean, these houses were more open out and these are where people like the fishermen would live, houses were also constructed in the trees of the surrounding forest for the hunters and gatherers, the forest was renamed Erym Elmenda which was elvish for the forest of wonders
Over time, the village grew and it was decided that it would be kept a secret, for the most part, hidden away from all maps only those of the village could leave and enter at will, all others had to receive special permission, a year had already passed, people of many different races occupied the large almost city scale village and now it came time for the trio to once again part ways from the village, Hinata looked at the two girls as he felt his heart being ripped in two different directions, the time had come for him to choose his Jitani and he was not looking forward to it, however, the three had bonded well over the past year and no one would be heartbroken, they were best friends and no matter what happened would stick together, He stopped and turned to the two of them as he stuck his arm out with the Jitani mark facing up "The Jitani that I choose is......"
