Chapter 5: A Friend?
Everyday for now on, I will go to the roof after school. Just to have that conversation with that person. But not only because I wanted to text that person, I wanted to find a chance to meet this person. But today was different, after school when I went to the roof, I saw someone. A very beautiful girl, long braided dark hair and a gentle face she had.
"excuse me?" I patted the girl's shoulder. She jumped and smacked my hand. I'm sure it was just a reflex since many girl are insecure. "ah- I'm sorry" the girl looked at me with no emotion. not even a tiny smile. "are you alright? Seem a little blank up here by yourself" I asked while I stand next to her. Soon wind came and flew our hair into our faces. "I'm not alright, I'm just very sad but since you're here I'm happy. I don't like being alone at all" she explained while a smile appears.
I smile back, i felt relieved after she told me I made her happy by not leaving her alone. "my name is Kylie and I'm a first year" I greeted lifting my hand. She warmly smiles back and shook my hand. "my name is Savanna and I'm a junior. it's very nice to meet you" she smiles brightly while shaking my hand non stop.
I could tell she is a very kind-hearted person, I also could tell she is someone you could hangout with and never be bored. "now that we're friends, let's go to the cafe!" She said holding my hand and running down to the cafe down the street. I felt super happy, I made a friend.
