Chapter 83: Chapter 75 - Ready
Relieved that Ryota left without a fuss, Miyu laid down on her bed and pretended to be asleep, just in case any maid walked in.
She thought about what to do today as she pretended to sleep. Today was Tuesday, she believed, and it was one day before she goes to school.
She was excited and scared. Miyu has never went to school before, everything she has learned was in the textbooks that lined her walls. She learned language, mathematics, science, history, and even more. But the only place where you can truly learn everything is in school. You'll learn how to socialize, how to help others, how to be a leader, how to be part of a group. Sadly, Miyu knew she wouldn't be able to learn these things. Everyone will most likely not try to strike a conversation with her and she has to be focused on her mission.
She started to mentally make a list for the things she needs for school. Paper, pencils... she thought as the door creaked open and a small girl entered. She wore a white rag over her fragile body, and she seemed around only thirteen to fourteen. The small girl walked up to Miyu's bed and asked as nicely as possible, "Third Miss... It's morning."
Miyu opened her eyes sluggishly and yawned, "Good morning to you too... um..."
The little girl looked at Miyu, "Iwasaki Aina, Third Miss."
Miyu smiled at the little girl, "Good morning, then, Iwasaki Aina. And please, call me Miyu."
Aina looked at Miyu weirdly, with a tilt of her head, "Sorry, Second Miss. That'll be unrespectful for me."
Miyu sighed and said, "At least call me Fujimura-san."
Aina nodded and said, "I will, Fujimura-san."
Miyu smiled and got up from her bed. She scratched the back of her head and said, "Go to my closet and get me a kimono. Something simple, please."
Aina bowed and said, "Yes, Fujimura-san."
Aina walked away from the bed and into the other room where the closet was. Miyu stretched her arms, legs, and neck as she got up from the bed and get herself ready for the big day ahead.
Aina came back soon enough with a yellow, bamboo colored kimono with light pink and dark pink flowers. There were a few birds sitting up at the shoulder, but all together it was one of the most simplest ones in Miyu's closet.
