As Vlad passed through the portal he felt himself being twisted and concentrated into his original crimson core form as he sped towards a particular location. He felt himself drawn towards different locations, subconsciously choosing a suitable host to birth him into the world. He knew he needed a suitable host to birth him or he'd end up not being able to bring out much of his power. He sensed a strong pull towards a particular direction and sped right through night sky towards his new body.
A few months later, In an unknown location where a particular organization bred and trained soldiers that weren't completely human, screams were heard from a sterile white room as an Asian woman with long dark hair was giving birth surrounded by stone faced people in medical masks. Soon a child with dark hair was born crying and kicking. The only sound in the room being the cries of the baby just born as his mother looked pale and weak. She seemed to be barely breathing. The doctors in the room were getting ready to cut the cord and take the newly born child out of the room when suddenly the mother began to scream and screech as though in unbelievable pain. The heart rate monitors showed spiking erratic lines. The doctors rushed to check what was happening only to shockingly find another baby fighting to get out of the womb. They were really surprised as twins didn't come up in any of the prenatal examinations. The doctors proceeded to safely deliver another dark haired child. This child came out with a single cry and soon became dead silent. The doctors were afraid the child had somehow died post delivery but examinations showed it was still alive but resting. After taking the time to clean and take the twins out of the room, the doctors turned back to find the mother dead on the delivery table. Her eyes were only showing white and her heart had stopped beating. After quickly examining her corpse they covered it with a sheet as they ruled her death by means of excessive blood loss due to child birth. If they had taken the time to closely examine the situation, they would have found something weird with the amount of blood lost from her body and the amount of blood on the delivery room floor not matching at all. Regardless even if they had bothered to check they would have recklessly attributed it to the delivery room floor drain. Sadly no one bothered as they were too busy tending to the newly born twins.
In a high tower that served as the headquarters of the federal agency known as the Commission of Counter Ghoul, a senior man with long gray hair and a beard sat behind a large desk going over document regarding the agency and its ghoul hunting operations. Suddenly there was a knock as his assistant came through the doors to deliver him some important news. Taking a bow, "Chairman Washuu we just received word of the successful delivery of the latest batch of children to be raised in the garden, however the mother did not survive the delivery." The man behind the desk looked up and humphed "The woman doesn't matter, what was the gender of the child?" Taking a pause to collect himself the messenger replied "They were both male Sir, the woman delivered a pair of healthy male twins before dying due to blood loss. What would you have us name the twins sir?" Taking a pause to think it over, the Chairman with a heavy air thought to himself that at least the woman exceeded his expectations before death by bringing forth more males to continue the Washuu bloodline. Throwing thoughts of the woman who he forced to bear his children out of his mind, he turned to his assistant and announced "Let the elder one be named Kichimura while the younger one will be name Kichimuri, raise them in the garden and have them begin training as soon as possible. I expect them to be trained into excellent Ghoul investigators. You're dismissed." The assistant proceeded to bow as he left the room to inform the garden of the children's names. They were after all the latest batch of the Chairman's illegitimate children bred and trained to become excellent ghoul investigators.
It had been five years since the birth of Kichimuri (secretly known by his overbearing adopted mother as Vlad) and he had spent it honing his control over his new body. It hadn't been easy finding a suitable host to birth him into this world. He had followed the pull and found a pregnant woman that was quite a bit stronger than the average human. He'd felt stronger pulls from creatures that were not really human but he decided to ignore those calls as the areas he was being called seemed to be dangerous places for a defenseless newborn. It had been a trying and boring few months as he made himself a body similar to that of the womb's other occupant fetus at the expense of the woman's health. As she gave birth to him, he also took the liberty of draining her blood to gain her knowledge of this world that he had found himself in. Turns out this was an advanced civilization based on technology where humans didn't have to spend every moment hunting and fighting for survival. They seemed to to be at the top of the food chain and publicly had no natural predator. Unfortunately for the humans of this world there are human-like ghouls who hunt and survive off the flesh of humans. The moment he learnt of the ghouls and their natural weapons called kagune which are their predatory organs, he realized what he was here for. Looking through the memories of his deceased mother he saw images of the kagune and its forms which looked somewhat similar to his own blood manipulation. Deciding that absorbing and analyzing these ghouls would only serve to strengthen him and raise his blood manipulation capabilities, Kichimuri would have gone out to hunt these ghouls were it not for the fact that his body was too weak to handle his core power. He noticed it early on that every time he used a bit of his powers his body would threaten to break down while almost sending out a bloody beacon to any ghoul nearby. He'd need time to let his physique grow while letting his power quench and strengthen his physical form until it could draw enough power comfortably to handle these superhuman ghouls and their kagune. Deciding there was no time to waste, Kichimuri started walking and talking as early as he could without drawing scrutiny. Still he was hailed as a potential genius. Realizing it would be too much to see a toddler strenuously training his body the moment he started walking, the cunning toddler spent the next four years accruing knowledge in the library about ghouls, their nature, hunting habits and other things a ghoul investigator should know. He absorbed all the knowledge he found easily while honing his control and learning to manipulate his body to mask any abnormal energy so he could come off as human or ghoul depending on the circumstances regardless of any mode of inspection. It took a while for him to unlock his innate ability of absolute control over his body due to the fact that his body had to be fully quenched by his energy. From his library research the most important thing he had learnt about had been RC cells also known as red child cells. Red Child Cells get their name from their color and their shape. They are shaped like curled up fetuses. The Red child cells not only exist in humans but also in ghouls. Humans consist of RC cells flowing throughout their whole bodies. A Ghoul with their activated Kakugan, It can be activated by will or when the ghoul is very hungry. It also automatically activates when the Kagune releases. There are different types of ghouls according to their kagune such as:
•An Ukaku-typed Ghoul with his Kakuhou at the shoulder area and a wing typed Kagune
• A Koukaku-typed Ghoul with his Kakuhou under the shoulder area and a Kagune that forms around his arm in a blade form
•A Bikaku-typed Ghoul with his Kakuhou at the tailbone area and a tail typed Kagune
•A Rinkaku-typed Ghoul with his Kakuhou around the back of his waist and a tentacle type Kagune.
The Kakuhou is a sack like organ that stores the RC Cells and from there the Kagune can form. Kagune are actually also made of the RC Cells. They appear liquid normally, just like in human bodies, but as a ghoul it becomes solid like steel. A healthy human has an average RC Level of around 200 to 500. While a normal ghoul has around 1000 to 8000. The reason why ghouls need to eat humans is because they need to ingest their RC cells, because those are basically nutrients for ghouls. Ghouls themselves don't produce RC Cells, but rather store them in their Kakuhou, meaning that they can't make RC Cells themselves. While humans of course, keep producing new RC Cells. Meaning that humans constantly are making new RC Cells. The quantity and quality of RC cells determine the strength of a ghoul.
Our little Kichimuri had found himself in a strange new advanced world with ghouls who looked no different than humans who could legitimately be called apex predators. Sadly for them he had come to this world and as he researched about their features and capabilities he smirked as he couldn't wait to consume them all and make himself stronger.
Finally at the age of five he could finally begin his training. It wasn't anything difficult for him as he had centuries of combat training and battle techniques stored in his memory bank. It didn't take long for him to pick up and master the various weapons in the Garden. He just had to adapt his body to the motions while strengthening it but keeping himself flexible enough for heightened agility. He concentrated most of his following years on body building and acting. Yes acting, as a centuries old being, our little Kichimuri was very inexperienced when it came to dealing with others considering he'd never had the need to before. Surprisingly it was during this event that he found use for his senior brother Kichimura. His brother always seemed soft spoken and polite towards others while only showing a hyper smile when following him around. From birth, our socially awkward Kichimuri had never opened up to his brother and spent all his time either in the library or training. This all changed when he began to practice his acting on him specifically. " Big brother Mura, I'm tired from training, piggy back me to our room, pweeeeaaaaassse". A little dark haired boy with golden eyes rushed to jump on a similar looking dark haired boy with dark brown eyes. Adopting the persona of a happy go lucky little brother who recently became attached to his older sibling. The twins began to train together and Muri began to match his training progress with that of his brother's to hide his true capabilities. Kichimura at first seemed perplexed by his change in attitude but was all too happy to act the indulging big brother. of course there were other children in the institute they were kept but Kichimuri didn't really get close to any of them except to observe their mannerisms, personalities and behaviors. He continued to adapt drawing on his memory bank of centuries of human interactions. He also observed the adults who handled and trained them not that it helped as they were cold and sterile all the time. One person our little budding monster did pay attention to was the older monster in the garden known as the oldest and strongest (publicly, little muri could crush him blindfolded) of the bunch, Kishou Arima. He seemed to be tall for his age with dark blue hair, gray eyes and glasses. He seemed quite gifted in the art of battle techniques and so little Muri approached him for sparring lessons. Taking note to conceal his capabilities he did the bare minimum to keep up with the intensity of the spar while observing and absorbing the the skills of the best fighter in the garden. Arima took an interest in our little Muri and his brother after that who felt creeped out and always hid behind his elder brother whenever they encountered him earning a laugh from his brother and a helpless tick mark on Arima's forehead. Apart from Arima, the other children weren't really worth mentioning except for the purple haired little girl Mura would blush whenever he talked to. Our little monster found it odd considering they were blood related but it was none of his business while continuing to train to accelerate his strength development while using his spare time to perfect his acting ability successfully forming a public mask to hide his true bloodthirsty persona. Mura began to spend time with Muri in the library where he came across the truth of what they were and their paltry lifespan. Later on when their supposed father found them, Mura was quick to claim he'd live his life to the fullest. Maybe it had been his acting skills but he'd immediately sensed the mask forming on his older brother. Something dark had formed upon learning from the Washuu records that he'd probably die by thirty. After being confronted about whether he knew, Muri merely replied smiling "Does it really matter big brother. All we have to do is live our lives like fireworks, the brighter the better". From then on they never spoke of it again but a renewed vigor seemed to be born in his brother as he trained harder to become stronger. Sometime later the purple haired girl named Rize escaped the facility. Muri suspected Mura had something to do with it considering how in love he was with her but he couldn't be bothered to find out.
As the years passed, our little monster used the institute's connections to accrue as much knowledge and education as they could offer even if it had to come from outside sources. It was on the morning of his tenth birthday that he woke up to a bubbling seductive voice " Vlad, you've spent a decade in this world. Did you miss your mother dearest?" Taking a moment to wipe the annoyance out of his tone "Yes, it's been a boring but productive Decade which I've used to learn a lot. Thank you, mother" he bit out the last phrase. " aww it's so good to hear your voice, mummy has been oohh so lonely without her little blood baby. Are you eating properly? Digesting smoothly? Having a balanced diet? Respecting your teachers and doing well in school?" Realizing there was nothing he could do to shut out the voice in his head, little Muri resolved to intensify his soul training from now on. "Well I just dropped in to congratulate you on your first decade in this new world. Try not to waste your time here as there are other places to be. The path to godhood is long and you're just at the beginning. Oh I miss you little Vlad. Develop properly. Grow stronger for mummy, Bye *blows kiss*". Finding his day ruined, Muri got out of bed to begin a day of intense training.
He spent the next five years apart from training learning more about the world he inhabited and planning out how he would hunt down the ghouls to absorb and evolve their powers. He'd perfected his blood manipulation and weapon mastery skills. He'd also taken the time out to improve his sensory ability using his connection to blood. He'd become able to sense the blood bags around him in a three block radius while being able to differentiate between ghouls and humans. This would greatly help him during his future hunts plus he could easily pick up blood being carried by the wind. He'd also taken an interest in human martial arts which he studied and adapted to suit him. Finally when he was fifteen he was allowed to graduate from the Garden and was given a choice of which organization to join, whether it'd be the clandestine V organization or the public CCG as a ghoul investigator. After weighing each choice he chose the V organization which allowed more free movement and privacy except when on missions. This seemed to give him more leeway to hunt down ghouls for power absorption. Due to his special circumstances and massive potential, Kichimuri was given a choice of quinque from the four different types. Honestly it's not like Kichimuri needed it as he had his blood weapons but it would be best if no one knew that. Wanting to make best use of his battle and weaponry training and experience, he decided to go for simplicity with a bikaku quinque that resembled a slightly heavy guardless katana. It was black with red veins traveling along it. It didn't take long to get used to it and the heaviness of the blade promised to do a lot of damage to any of his future opponents while assuring incredible dexterity and agility. Taking one last look at the place he had grown up in and trained in for the past one and a half decade, Kichimuri had an excited smirk on his face as he saw this place as his first touchdown on this new world and his long quest to godhood. Saying goodbye to his brother who would surely graduate within the next two years, Kichimuri the future god conqueror known as Vlad disappeared into the night with the other members of the V organization as he began his first ghoul hunting operation.
Wow this chapter took longer than normal because I had to do a lot of research to make sure everything I write lines up. I was stuck for a while trying to think up a name for the mc. I actually started translating Kichimura‘s name to english to break it down and create a meaningful name that matches his. Then I thought to myself just keep it simple, it’s not like the douche Chairman would put thought into a pawn’s name. About the paragraphs, the plot would suffer if I paid that attention
