Chapter 1: Walking Away
Ming Li has always hoped for something more interesting her office at the hospital and it seems that one day the Gods decided to hear her prayers.
Sitting in the on the bench outside the ER she was on her break when she heard a sound coming from the opposite hallway. The sound itself was a mixture of crying and echos of knocking against a wall.
'Don't be nosey Li...,'
Not listening to her conscience, Ming Li stood and headed towards the sound. Walking down the corridor anyone would notice that there were 'Do Not Cross' and ' Men at Work' signs which Ming Li happened to ignore.
Finally she arrived at a reinforced door with a busted hinge and a half broken door knob.
"Hello?"
"Help Me!"
Without any hesitation she shoved open the door only to fall right through the floor of the room at her first step.
The only thing was that it wasnt a floor but a set of staircases. No handlebars or railings to hang on to Ming Li went tumbling down the staircase, breaking bones along the way.
