Chapter 16: will you be my boyfriend
monu comes at practice and when he was wearing his gears , kaju sit besides him and asked - Do you still smoke?
monu: No , not all all
kaju: swear to cricket that you don't smoke
monu : i have smoke only 1 or 2 cigrattes after i made you promise of leaving this habit
kaju: look in my eyes and then give me a answer
monu: ok sorry 5-6 times only
kaju giving him looks that she knows he is still lying.
monu: sorry ! i smoke regularly
kaju: What do you mean regularly?
Monu: iam chain smoker and smoke 14-16 cigrattes in a day.
kaju couldnot control her anger after listening monu's confession. She started abusing and cursing him and said he don't deserve any girl in his life .
practice session begins and monu start batting. suddenly kar realised that monu was crying badly.
Till that time group knows that something is going between kaju and monu.
Seeing monu crying all become frightened and pleased kaju to forgive him.kaju told them to shutup their mouth as her anger is out of her hand.
kaju is in no mood of forgiving monu and she internally made plans that she will not talk with him in future .
Monu on the other hand was crying continously, he himself doesnot know the reason of it , as he is a strong guy both mentally and physically, how can he is not able to control its emotion. Is it because of harsh words of kaju or the fear of losing her forever.
kaju was also stunned by his reaction , how can he behaves like this but his tears are not enough to fix kaju's broken heart.
After sometime its kaju turn for batting. within 3-4 minutes of practice , hard leather ball hits on kaju's brain . She felt terrible pain as today she was not wearing helmet( a safeguard to protect your face and brain) .
Her dady comes and took kaju to home.
Monu and the whole group become more frightened. Kar is not going near monu as he is fearing monu might break him into pieces for hitting her possible girlfriend. They planned to call at kaju's home phone number , kaju's mother replied that she is fine.
Monu received a message.
Its from kaju: Will you be my boyfriend?
