Chapter 15: The Legend History (Short Chapter)
"How do you know?" Zoro suddenly asked with serious expression.
Jo smiled and said, "I'm street fortune-teller."
"Huh?" Zoro stunned once again.
"Uncle, are you kidding me?" Nami asked as well.
"Trust me, I really a street fortune teller. It was my job before." Jo start his bullshiting.
"I don't believe it!" Nami replied.
"It's up to you... My niece." Jo answered with smirk.
"Uncle! You..." Nami wanted to curse him. But nothing out from her mouth.
She still vividly remembered how Jo shamelessly said that he was Bellmere friend and became her uncle from the start. He even knew all her secrets. Was he really a fortune teller?
"Hey Zoro, actually I want to recruit her to my ship. But she decline my offer. Why not you ask her to join straw hat pirate?" Jo suddenly asked.
"Who want to join a pirate group?!" Takashigi shouted.
Jo shrugged his shoulders and walked away from them.
"Nami, you can spend a lot of time with Nojiko. I want to see the start of legend by my own eyes." Jo said that and disappeared.
Takashigi with mixed feelings also decided to back to marine office without trying to arrest Zoro and Nojiko. Zoro just looked at her without saying anything. Nojiko and Nami? They were already started their gossip session again.
Jo walked to narrow passage. He used his observation haki and pin point the certain broken bar.
This bar long ago was the bar Gol D. Roger visit before entering the Grand Line. Jo entered the bar and greeted by dwarfed old man.
"This bar is closed."
"Don't be like that, old man. I also wanted to experience what Pirate King felt before start his journey on Grand Line." Jo said in relaxed tone.
That old man stunned and then laughed. Jo didn't know why, but he felt that old man suddenly gained his spirit again. That old man began to mix several alcohol drink and then served it to Jo.
"It is my last serving, enjoy with your heart content."
"Nah, old man. You should not close your bar too soon. The next generation pirate King will come here soon. He is almost similar to the late Gol D. Roger." Jo said to old man with slightly serious tone.
"How do you know?" the old man obviously interested.
"I'm a fortune teller. The future pirate king wearing straw hat." Then Jo finished his drink in one gulp. Then he tossed two gold coins and said good bye.
When he exited the bar, Luffy in hurry entered the bar. Jo stunned and then laughed. He felt really similar to a fortune teller. Likely, Smoker started to chase Luffy. Jo jumped to the roof and waiting for the next show. Using observation haki, Jo felt Smoker nearby.
In the afternoon, Smoker still hunted Luffy. Jo looked at them with great interest. And he wanted to see Alvida as well. Why Alvida as well? because Buggy and Alvida obviously wanted to catch Luffy as well.
When Alvida appeared, Jo was smitten by her beautiful face and sexy body. He couldn't imagine how she threw her fat away? That slippery fruit really amazing.
Watching Luffy play hide and seek with Buggy, Alvida, and Smoker really refreshing. Luffy just jumped and ran all along. Even Smoker with his smoke could not catch Luffy easily.
Finally, Luffy entered the execution field. Luffy looked at the execution tower with sparkling eyes. That was place of the pirate king last breath. The Legend who reached the one piece. Jo also shuddered by that execution tower. It really gave him overwhelming aura. Maybe Roger last aura still lingering here.
Jo suddenly snapped when he heard that Buggy managed to catch Luffy and wanted to cut Luffy head. This time was Luffy father would call storm.
As Jo expected, the sky suddenly became dark. Wind became restless.
