Chapter 7: Bad Luck
When Nami and Jo finished their job, Luffy still fighting with Don Creigh. The battle was very fierce, just like on Anime. But looking the battle freshly compared to Anime scene really like heaven and earth. Don Creigh heavily relied on his weapon arsenal and his armor.
In no time, Jo had arrived beside Nojiko and ate dried fish meats as snack. With Jo influence, Nami also brought a chair from dining hall and enjoyed the battle.
"Uncle, in your opinion, who is the last winner?" Nami asked.
"Obviously, that straw hat." Jo answered thoughtlessly. He knew it from serial Anime.
Nojiko also heard Jo answer. She obviously worried her captain safety. Because of almost all of Don Creigh members were killed, Baratie became safe and sound. They could watch the exciting fight without worry.
The fight entered the climax. Luffy used his signature skill to punch Don Creigh. His punch was too strong, it successfully pierced Don Creigh armor. It was Luffy victory. But after the last punch, Luffy free fell to the sea. Without hesitation, Sanji jumped to the sea and picked Luffy up.
Jo, as spectator, really disappointed. No beautiful maiden was remarkable enough to be recruited by him. Nah, female fighter really rare in this world. Captain Smoker underling, Takashigi, and Smoker friend, Hina, also worth recruiting. But it also very difficult. Only Alvida was slightly easier.
Suddenly he felt someone sailing with small boat slowly approached fighting site. The main character of this episode finally came. Yes, he was one of Sichibukai, Dracule Mihawk. The King of Swordsmaster. Zoro lifetime target. With his stoic face, he looked at the fighting site. Suddenly Zoro jerked and dashed to nearby Mihawk with full of battle lust. Zoro bravely challenged Mihawk into duel.
With slightly taunt and attack, Zoro successfully asked Mihawk into duel. Zoro used all his katanas and attacked with his full force. But Mihawk deflected all Zoro attack and counter attack him. Two katanas broke after parrying Mihawk slash.
In the end, Zoro offered his front body for being slashed. Nojiko, Luffy, and other wanted to help him, but Jo prevented them.
"That is pride of sword warriors. Being slashed on the front is courageous. But slashed his back is act of cowardice. Just help him when he down. Trust me, Zoro has very big vitality." Jo said.
But something unexpected happened. Mihawk sensed him and listened what Jo said. With slightly smile, Mihawk slashed his big sword toward Jo place.
"Fuck! Such Bad luck!" Jo cursed. How could he become Mihawk prey?
Obviously Jo could not evade it. If he evaded it, Nami and other would be slashed. While coating his arm with armament haki, Jo shouted, "Fuck you! Mihawk!"
Then he punched the sword slash to disperse it.
Boom!
The collision between Mihawk slash and Jo punch created huge shock waves.
Everything seems to be unreal. Nami jaw was dropped to the floor. Nojiko, Sanji, Usop, and Baratie workers were stunned. Luffy was excited. And the last, Dracule Mihawk was smiled.
"Boy, why not entertain me for a while before I back to Grand Line?" Mihawk asked with cold tone.
"Fuck you, Old man! I just wanna watch the fun, but you ruined it just for entertainment? Fucking shit! I refuse!" Jo shouted angrily.
"Then I will just force you to fight me." Mihawk said lightly. He really excited after knowing someone strong had appeared in this backward sea. Jo had mastered haki! It was rare to find haki holder out of Grand Line. And how could he miss this entertainment?
Jo instantly knew what Mohawk meant by saying that. Mihawk would bombarding his place with that slash if he didn't fulfill his demand. Jo helplessly jumped to the air with moon walk.
"Oh, you also know CP technique. Interesting."
Soon, Jo punch collided with Mohawk sword. The wooden shipwreck instantly blasted. They pushed back that collision. Jo picked up a wooden staff from shipwreck. He used armament haki and coated it.
Without hesitation, Jo jumped to Mohawk and started his assault. He attacked Mihawk with full force. If not, he would be killed instantly.
Boom!
Boom!
Their haki collided and created Shockwave. Even Baratie swayed by the impact. The audience stunned by the fight. Luffy fight was excellent, but Jo fight was another level.
After Mihawk slashed the sky and created a riff on the sky, Jo immediately admitted defeat, desperately.
"Oh great Mihawk. Please spare this puny me. I still have someone to feed. Let's end this fight for now, okay? My stamina also had already drained." Jo desperately asked for time out.
"Alright. I will wait for you at Grand Line." Mihawk instantly jumped to his small boat and started his sailing without waiting Jo reply. A happy smile appeared on Mihawk face.
"Don't disappoint me, boy!" Mihawk said.
"Please, don't wait for me!!!" Jo shouted loudly.
Jo jumped back to the previous place and landed beside Nami. Everyone looked at him like looking at monsters, except Luffy. To avoid more trouble, he immediately dragged Nami to the ship and set sail.
On the Baratie, everyone still stunned by the fight between Jo and Mihawk.
"Nojiko, tell me who he is? He really strong like Shank! Great! " Luffy asked to Nojiko.
"I don't know, Luffy. He is Nami captain. He is the one who massacre Arlong and his crew. I only know that his name is Jo." Nojiko answered.
On the ship, Nami still looking at Jo with full of admiration.
"Uncle, why don't you tell me that you are very strong?" Nami asked. Her expression was similar to wife that caught her husband cheating.
"Hey hey, from the start I'm strong. I'm not telling you because you are never ask." Jo answered with weird expression.
'Why I feel I have caught by her in cheating? She even not my wife!'
In Marine East Blue head quarter, marine higher up discussed recent fight between Jo and Dracule Mihawk. After he showed his haki, Jo could not avoid his bounty over his head. Even his karma was helpless.
"How much bounty that appropriate for him?" one higher up asked.
"I think 50 million berry or so is appropriate." Another higher up gave a suggestion.
"Okay, let's decide 50 million as his bounty."
"I agree."
"I also agree."
Just five hours, Jo bounty poster had already spread to the world.
