Chapter 6: On Baratie
Inside Baratie, after seeing Nami, Sanji instantly transformed into masochist. His trademark swaying dance also performed. But despite all of those things, Sanji dish was top notch.
"Uncle, this restaurant foods really good. Can you ask that chef to join our ship?" Nami asked.
"No. I only recruit and receive good looking female members. It's strict rule." Jo answered without hesitation.
Nami pouted her mouth and continued her meal. Jo just shook his head and continued to eat his meal. He really enjoyed his meal. The dishes were top notch, and the guests also had several beauty. He could feast on that wealthy beauty. Of course, he didn't know all beauty here, except Nami. And based on Anime he watch, no exceptional females here. So, he didn't want to recruit one of them. But, before his next sailing trip, he would gave them a final screening.
Obviously it was Don Creigh. After his assault, he could see someone potential by his observation haki. It was very convenient.
Not long after, a loud boom rang out from the top of restaurant. Jo smiled, it was a reminder of the current arch.
On the top of restaurant, a huge hole appeared on the head chef room. A young boy wearing red shirt and a straw hat struck on the wall. The head chef really annoyed by it.
"You must pay for breaking my restaurant!" the head chef said.
"But I don't have any money, old man." that young man answered without thinking.
"Then you must work on my kitchen to compensate my lost! No nego!"
"Ehhhh! I only know how to eat!!" that young man shouted.
In the dinning room, three young people entered the room. One female and two male. When Jo saw them, he stunned by the female. She was Nojiko, Nami sister. Nami shouted screamed and immediately dashed to Nojiko. Nojiko also stunned by her sister present. They hugged each other and laughed.
Maybe straw hat pirate did not find Nami on Coco Village, the plot armor decided to place Nojiko as Nami replacement. Hm, it was the most realistic explanation.
Zoro with his lazy face ignored the two girl antic, and Ussop was looking around with curious gaze.
"Nami, what are you doing here? Arlong had already killed, go back to village and take care Bellmere orange field." Nojiko asked.
Jo immediately interested to how Nami replied Nojiko question.
"Hehe, I entered that perverted uncle group. I'm his navigator. I can't back to Coco Village. Sorry Nojiko. Then what about you? How can you join that green haired pirate hunter?" Nami asked back.
"His name is Roronoa Zoro. And he no longer a pirate hunter. We have joined Straw Hat Pirate. I join them to search you. Speaking of pirate, their direction sense really suck. I need to be navigator to ensure they not lost." Nojiko answered.
Hearing that, Jo laughed out loud. It was same with original story. Especially Zoro. He really very bad at direction sense.
"Oh right, Nami, how do you know about Zoro?" Nojiko asked.
"Em, Uncle tell me about him." Nami answered.
Suddenly Jo sensed someone who starved, arrived on the deck. He was deputy of Don Creigh Pirate. And Sanji currently feed him.
"Hey Nami, come back." Jo shouted at Nami.
When Nami back to her seat, Don Creigh and his deputy entered the dining hall and knelled.
"Please, give me foods. I have been starving for several days." Don Creigh asked with low esteem.
Every one shouted to not gave him a food. But Sanji still gave him. Jo knew the reason behind Sanji deed. His past was miserable, after getting Zeff help, they starved in the middle of sea, the reef. And Sanji didn't want to see someone starving like him before. That was why Luffy was so adamant to recruit him.
Obviously, Sanji deed invited protest from restaurant worker and the guests. Everyone shouted, but Sanji ignored them all.
Jo also acknowledged his kindness.
Just like ungrateful brat, Don Creigh immediately announced that Baratie would be his ship as his previous was broken by someone.
"Hahaha. All of you, put all berry and jewelry on the table. This ship will be my ship from now." Don Creigh said loudly.
Sanji wanted to fight back, but end up being beaten down.
In another side of dining hall, Jo and Nami followed their instructions. Then Jo said to Nami who sad for her berry have been robbed, "Don't worry. We will take their treasures as your berry exchange. For now, just watch the good show."
Nami smiled and nodded.
After half an hour, finally Straw Hat started the fight. Everything in chaos and it was the best time for robbery. Jo immediately dragged Nami to the window and silently jumped to the sea. He told Nami to hold tightly on his back before he started to propeller.
Inside the Don Creigh ship, Jo immediately killed almost all Don Creigh crew. Then with observation haki, he found the treasure room.
"Wow! Uncle, look at these! It mountain of treasure! But, how can this broken ship has this many of treasures? Did the attacker not know about this treasure?" Nami asked in wonder. Of course, she had already taken her bag and started to pick the treasures in.
"Nah, the one who attack this ship actually just do it out of whim. He just bored and want to kill someone. And this ship is the unlucky one." Jo said lazily and continued helping Nami.
"He? What uncle mean is, the attacker just one person?" Nami asked in surprise.
"Congrats! You're right. But no gift for you. He is one of seven great pirates under The World Government. I forget the that pirate group name." Jo said.
Nami stunned by Jo information. She realized that knowing too much would result in no good. She silently engraved all Jo words in her mind. This world really scary. She rather felt lucky not met any fierce pirates.
"Nah, the attacker will come here soon." Jo abruptly said.
