Chapter 1: Is it just a dream...? (01)
Jasmine looked everywhere around her curiously. She didn't remember how she came to the place she currently standing. The surrounding was not familiar to her at all. She looked behind her and in front of her in order to figure out where she was and what to do next.
People were walking and doing their works as usual.From the front side,she could see that there was a subway. She thought of walking there to get a clue where she is right now.
"Hilton city"
she could see a sign board stating where she was. It was the main subway station of Hilton city. Beside the name board,she could see the clock indicating the time that it was 6.54 a.m in the morning.
"What?Hilton city??What in the world am I doing here this much early in the morning?"Jasmine was bewildered.
"And Hilton city???Have I ever been here before?Am I dreaming right now?"she wondered.
She could feel the chill of morning breeze,could hear the noises of background clearly. Yet she couldn't imagine what was she doing there.
"I must be dreaming right now. It is not even my waking time yet."she decided.
"Jass,close your eyes..,take a deep breath..,I'm going to pinch my self. Here we go...ouch" Jasmine pinched herself and opened her eyes thinking that she might be on her comfortable bed with her favourite teddy bear.
But she was disappointed to see the same scene,Hilton city's subway station infront of her eyes.
The clock showed that the time was 6.55 a.m and the next train is to reach the station at 6.58 a.m. The station was not very much crowded but many people were waiting for the train.
"Now what should I do?I don't even have money to get a pass to go home" Jasmine was really worried.
"And where did my phone go?"she checked the pocket.
"I can't call grandma. She would ask me hundred of questions what am I doing here if she knew "she thought to herself.
She sat on a side bench and tried to remember a number of a friend she could get help.
The time was 6.57 a.m.Jasmine raised her head and looked at the side people were waiting.
Suddenly... from afar,she saw a figure of a person who was running. That figure came towards the direction she was waiting. She just kept staring at that figure which was zooming in her sight not for any particular reason.
But when that figure came to her clear vision range,she felt a familiarity. Therefore, after wiping her eyes,she looked at that figure well.
Yes. Her eyes had not cheated on her. That was certainly a figure of a well known person.That was her father. She could clearly identify now.
She didn't know what her father was doing in Hilton city because as she knew his workplace was in another city. But that was not important right now. She has lost her way in an unknown city and now she has met her father.
She stood up and walked towards her father. At the same time,the train came. It seemed her father also came for the train. She knew that if she couldn't catch him before he get into the train,she would miss him. Therefore,she ran towards her father calling him.
"Dad....dad...."
He was about to get into the train and Jasmine was still far away.
Thinking of stopping him somehow,she shouted.
"Dad....."
It seemed her father heard her voice this time because he looked at her direction. Even from far she could see the surprised expression on his face. He withdrew from getting on the train and turned back.
"Jass..."He came towards her.
"What are you doing here?" she could hear him asking.
The doors of the train closed. It seemed father is going to miss this train.Jasmine thought.
She slowed herself a bit and thought of how to explain her father what happened.
That's when another unexplainable thing happened.
There were only a few meters for Jasmine to reach her father. Suddenly she felt she can't move anymore as if she was glued to the floor. She tried her best to move but to no avail.
"Dad.." therefore she called father again. He was reaching to her with long strides.
"Jass..sweetie, why did you come here?"while reaching her,her father asked.
Jasmine wanted to answer but she couldn't say a word. She didn't know why but she felt as if her voice is vanished. She couldn't explain nor understand what is happening to her. Therefore she helplessly kept looking at her father.Her father was about to touch her when she felt as if she is being pulled back by a massive magnetic force. That power was so massive that it pulled her rapidly. She couldn't catch up her breath and she felt dizzy. She tried to ask help from her father but couldn't even utter a word.
Finally..,everything went dark.

Jasmine opened her eyes. She was on her bed tightly hugging her teddy bear. She looked around. Everything was normal. Then her alarm started to ring. She looked at the time. The time was 7.06 a.m. Her alarm had gone snooze. She got up and sat on the bed. She could still remember her dream.
"I must be missing dad.That is why I saw him in dream" She thought.
But the rest..... it was purely a dream. So she just ignored it and went to get ready to go to school.
After getting ready ,she had her breakfast and then left for school after saying good bye to her grandma.
The day went well during the classes at the school until their break time. During their lunch break, she was having lunch at the cafeteria with her best friend.
In the television of cafeteria,a popular musical program was telecasting. Although they didn't pay much attention, they could hear it in the background.
Then,suddenly a special breaking news was telecast at the moment.Jasmine didn't pay much attention to the news but all of a sudden, a word from news broadcaster caught her ear.
"Hilton city"
It was a news about Hilton city.
