Chapter 9: Return & The Dragon God Duoluo
Like a ripple LeiYu appeared back within the same inn they stayed at before, inside the room was a man sleeping but LeiYu had already activated his Eyes of Illusions so no one noticed him leave the inn. Due to it being night time LeiYu had to sneak outside the city so he could open the pocket dimension. Once the girls were out he snuck them back in.
"Alright girls its time to head to the Sea God's Pavilion, Mu En is a kind senior so I'm sure if I pull some strings he will give his blessing for the three of us to enter the school."
"Mmm I'm looking forward to it." (Snow)
"Hehe I cant wait to see how my strength stacks up against those human prodigies." (Ice)
"Remember Icy my princess you aren't a spirit beast anymore so its not 'human' prodigies. You need to work on that habit of yours."
"Ughh I know Yu, I'm sorry…" (Ice)
LeiYu had been trying over the last 5 years to get the girls to talk and act more like humans do with some success. Ice still had some speech habits though.
Knowing its not her fault he moved closer to her before petting her head, something that he developed a habit for. The two girls silky hair felt heavenly and he loved petting them in his free time. He even discovered many of their weak spots causing them to melt before he hand technique no small amount of times.
"Mmmm Yuuuu..s…stoppp not in public…mmm…" (Ice)
Luckily it was nighttime and they were still under LeiYu's illusion so no one could hear the sensual moans coming from the young girl.
Deciding that he's tormented her enough, LeiYu moved onto their next topic while they walked towards the Sea God's Pavilion.
"One last thing to remember, your names are Ice and Snow now. I know they was originally only nicknames but going by the name Heavenly Snow Women or Ice Jade Empress Scorpion wouldn't fit in with humans. So your names will be Tian Snow and Tian Ice."
"If we go by the Tian surname doesn't that mean we are essentially your wives?" (Ice)
Ice said jokingly, but LeiYu wouldn't let her get away with that one.
"Yes you're my wives."
He said with a very serious face surprising both Ice and Snow. They felt their hearts beat faster and they knew their faces had become a deep red.
"Mmm…Tian Snow sounds good, I like it…" (Snow)
"…H…Humph if you want to call me that suit yourself!" (Ice)
LeiYu not quite expecting their answers was happy that they accepted and held both of their hands as they enjoyed their time together.
At the Sea God's Pavilion Mu En was discussing with Xuan Lao some matters regarding the academy when the up incoming entrance exams were brought up.
"Hmm…I can understand your concerns Xuan Lao, but I feel that this year will bring in some exceptional young ones." (Mu En)
"I hope so, we need more talented youngsters. Especially in the Spirit Guidance department…" (Xuan Lao)
Suddenly while they were talking a voice reverberated across the hall of the pavilion.
"Indeed there isn't many capable talents in the spirit guidance department, not that I'm one to talk seeing as how I haven't even touched one before…" (Mu En)
Surprised that someone could enter the premises of the Sea God's Pavilion without his knowledge, Mu En cautiously appraised the young man no older then 12 who suddenly appeared as if out of no where.
He was dressed in what appeared to be a battle robe of some sorts, a black mask covered his neck and lower face ending just under his eyes. Long white hair tied in a single pony tail, and deep purple eyes that seemed to look directly into your soul. A bird sat upon his shoulders, just from its majestic and otherworldly appearance one could tell it wasn't an ordinary bird.
Yet the strangest and most frightening thing about this young man in front of him, was not what he could see, but rather what he couldn't. The boy didn't even seem to exist. Mu En felt nothing from him, that is what truly made him worried.
"May I ask, who this supreme one is and for what purpose have you come to this old mans home?" (Mu En)
"Relax oh great Dragon God Douluo, I come with no ill intent. I came because I wanted to enter your esteemed academy."
"Enter…Shrek Academy you say? Why would a being as powerful as you want to enter Shrek might I ask?" (Mu En)
"Mmm well you see I need people my own age to interact with no? Also I have two very adorable wives who I want to make some human friends but if we were to just directly enter the academy directly they would face difficulties so I wanted to come negotiate straight with the source."
'People his age? Does that mean he is only 12? He also said human friends, and that they would face hardships if they directly entered, these wives he's talking about must be spirit beasts that have reincarnated into humans. I'm beginning to understand his purpose, but that still begs the question…who is he?' (Mu En)
'Hoho, leave it to an old monster like him to figure things out quite fast. Maybe ill throw you a bone or two in order to sweeten the deal.'
"How about I tell you who I am in exchange you let me and my two girls enter the academy?"
'!?! Did he read my thoughts?!? Hmmm I don't really see a reason to refuse…I just hope this is a blessing not a calamity for the academy.' (Mu En)
"Very well, I accept your proposal." (Mu En)
"Great…"
As LeiYu said that he released his illusion that was covering the two girls behind him. They were wearing veils to hid their faces. Snow had a pale blue veil and Ice a light green one. Underneath the veils though both had amused expressions on their faces seeing how well LeiYu handled things, as well as because of the fact that he had already started addressing them as his wives even though they weren't technically married yet.
"These are Tian Snow and Tian Ice, my wives. My name is Tian LeiYu, as for who I am, you should have a good idea by now no? After all you are one of the strongest beings within this world even if you are getting on in age."
Seeing the two beautiful reincarnated spirit beast girls appear out of no where was shocking enough, but when Mu En heard his last sentence he was even more shocked.
'So I was right…6 months ago I felt a god descend, alongside a heavenly phenomenon. This being in front of me must be that same god…It would be best to not anger him if we can help it, in my state I wouldn't be able to protect the academy should he decide to rampage.' (Mu En)
"Now the things I need from you is this. Inform all teachers of the Titled Douluo rank that three students will enter the academy under your personal recommendation and that two of them are reincarnated spirit beasts. Make sure that they are aware of the fact that if any teacher moves against them, they will die. In return for your help, as long as everything goes smoothly, while I'm in Shrek I will be its protector. You should know how valuable that is for you."
'I see…He's hinting at the fact that I don't have long left to live and outside forces may begin to move…he didn't really leave me any reason to refuse.' (Mu En)
"Very well, I will summon all of those necessary and explain the situation." (Mu En)
"Mmm you've made a good choice, one I'm sure you'll be thankful for. Oh yes, one last thing. Make sure its clear that we don't want to be treated differently, and I don't want knowledge of us getting out past those whom you inform. Well then, see you at the academy."
LeiYu said his last piece before disappearing with the two girls, as if they were never there. The person happiest about his departure was the one who has been standing off to the side unable to speak since LeiYu entered.
This was due to a small amount of pressure he released in order to talk to just Mu En for the time being. Xuan Lao now free from the pressure, felt like a heavy weight was lifted off his shoulders. Thinking about the being who could restrict him so easily and make even a person as strong as Mu En respectful, he didn't know whether to be scared or happy that Shrek had such a powerful figure.
"Xuan Lao gather all rank 9 spirit masters in the academy and bring them here for an emergency meeting." (Mu En)
"MuLao the girls weren't spirit emperors yet, wouldn't rank 8 spirit masters also be capable of seeing through them?" (Xuan Lao)
"Mmm but if we could realize that then why would he only mention rank 9 spirit masters and not anything about rank 8? He was not a fool, if I had to guess, he could probably hide the fact that they are spirit beasts all together allowing them entrance into the academy without any issues. He didn't do this though and instead wanted us to inform those who were the backbone of the academy that they are here, and that we needed to watch over the students and the two girls so nothing happened." (Mu En)
"So he will probable make it so even rank 9 spirit masters cant see through them, but just wants us to have knowledge that their important to him? Haaaa I'm getting to old for this." (Xuan Lao)
Before long all the core members of Shrek had gathered.
Mu En, also known as MuLao or Dragon God Douluo, the Pavilion Master of Sea God's Pavilion, sat at the head of the table. Flanking him were Xuan Lao, otherwise known as the Gluttonous Douluo holding the position of Pavilion Master of Shrek Academy, and Elder Song holding the position of Treasure Pavilion Master.
On Xuan Lao's side going down in order were Yan Shaozhe also known as the Bright Phoenix Douluo the 261st Shrek Academy Headmaster. Then at the end of the table was Gong Changlong the Beast King, Director of Beast Dueling Arena.
On the opposite side next to Elder Song sat her daughter Sin Lin Er, the Headmaster of Spirit Guidance Department. At the end of the table sat Sin Lin Er's husband Qian Duo Duo, the Vice Headmaster of Spirit Guidance Department. These seven people were Shrek Academies core members of the Titled Douluo rank.
"Mmm good you all came quickly. There is something important you all need to be aware of, Xuan Lao." (Mu En)
"Yes, everyone, earlier today the Sea God's Pavilion had a visitor." (Xuan Lao)
"A…visitor you say?" (Yan Shaozhe)
"A boy and two girls all around the age of eleven or twelve. They will be joining the academy with the other new students." (Xuan Lao)
"And? You wouldn't gather us all here just for that, what's so special about these two that they were allowed into the Pavilion and even warranted this meeting? (Gong Changlong)
"That's just the thing, they weren't allowed into the pavilion. They walked in on their own…" (Xuan Lao)
"What!? That's not possible! Mother did you know about this?" (Sin Lin Er)
"No I did not sense any disturbances up until the summons…" (Elder Song)
"It's true…even I didn't sense them until he spoke. Even while talking I couldn't sense him…he is a being far more powerful then I. In fact I suspect he may be a God. " (Mu En)
"A god you say?!" (Everyone)
'Even Elder MuLao couldn't sense him?!' (Yan Shaozhe)
"Yes, he came to inform us that him and his two wives would be joining the academy. His wives are reincarnated spirit beasts, he said he wanted to inform all of us that if any teachers attempt to go against them for being spirit beasts, they will die…honestly I don't know if we would be able to prevent him from going through with it either so its best to maintain a good relationship with those three while their at the academy." (Xuan Lao)
"Reincarnated spirit beasts you say? If so they must be under rank 60 and he was worried about them being targeted when they entered the school." (Qian Duo Duo)
"No that's not it." (Xuan Lao)
"It's not?" (Qian Duo Duo)
"Elder MuLao and I believe that he is capable of hiding the fact that their spirit beasts outright. The reason he didn't just do that was because he wanted us to know he was here. In exchange for not interfering with him, he will protect the academy should he need to." (Xuan Lao)
"I see…" (Yan Shaozhe)
"The new students will be coming in a few days, be on the lookout for him but don't cause a scene. Make sure this information does not go beyond those gathered. Just let him do what he wants as long as it doesn't harm the school, you all are dismissed." (Mu En)
"Yes!" (Everyone)
*Sigh* 'Looks like my last days are destined to not be peaceful…' (Mu En)
