I'm back
Somehow Aditi managed not to cry again and then she freed herself from his warm embrace and with a long face she asked him "Why did you avoid me back then ?" , "I had come all the way myself to meet you or just have a glance of you , you weren't receiving any of my calls nor did u reply to any of my messages .... what was my mistake? Was it a mistake that I loved you more than anything? Was it a mistake that I made you my topmost priority??" ... "I know I'm not as pretty as the girls who throw themselves at you, is that the reason you left me back then???", "U knew it very well how lonely I was in that condition, and yet u left me there all alone" .... "It's been 8 long years now and u've been ignoring me all this time , then why are u back ?? I've accepted the fact that u don't love me the way I did and I've habituated myself to live this way ... all by myself, now that I don't need ur support then why the hell have u returned ????"
He was speechless hearing her questions , he could feel the pain within her with every word she uttered and he felt like cursing himself for hurting her so much, but he patiently listened to all her complaints whereas she went on and on with her non-stop questions and now she was getting agitated by his silence.
He tried to hug her, to calm her agitated self , but she pushed him away so hard that he fell from the couch and was hurt by the corner of the centre table and it started bleeding; Aditi immediately ran towards him to see if he was severely injury , but then she was still angry so she tried not to care about his wound, but her eyes spoke for her instead ... it was clearly visible in her eyes that she was dying to dress his wound and to soothe his pain but somehow she restrained herself.
Tanish managed to get up and sit next to her, and holding her hands he started answering each of her questions patiently, he said " My dear, I'm really very sorry to hurt you so much and to stay away from you for this long, but it wasn't my choice, I love u a lot Aditi and I want to spend the rest of my life with you , but back then I wasn't in a position to afford a good lifestyle for you and I thought myself to be incapable for you ! , I don't wanna give you a life full of compromises and just for the sake of your happiness I had to work so hard on achieving the status I have today " ; " I know that my status has nothing to do with our love for each other but I want to give u all the happiness in this world, and for that it was necessary that I should be financially independent and capable, or else how would I be able to ask your parents for your hand, my dear ?" saying this he gently kissed her hand which he was holding, her eyes brimmed with tears after hearing all that he said; while he continued "I know how hard it has been for you all these years , I had a close look at you for all this while and it was unbearable for me to see you in such a pain , but I couldn't help you in any way , I knew how lonely you felt all this time and to repay you for all your hardships with manifolds happiness , I'm back , I'm back to spend the rest of my life with you my love , I'll repay each of our lost time with manifolds happiness and a stress-free life ..... please can you forgive me for once and give me a chance ??" she was crying by now as she couldn't hold back her emotions that made their way through tears, she hugged him tightly and cried like a baby as he gently stroked her silky smooth hairs and gently patted her back, to calm her down.
Then he made her sit comfortably and wiped her tears; then he went down kneeling before her, he took out a delicate blue box from his coat and presenting a beautiful diamond ring to her , he proposed her "Will you spend the rest of your life with me, Aditi?" , this simple line of his were like a spell of happiness on her deserted heart and she was so happy to hear this from him that she couldn't express her joy in words, and she ended up nodding happily.
She accepted his ring and he was too happy that she had finally let him off the hook for now and that she was ready to accept his proposal. She knew his introvert personality and also knew how hard it was for him to express his feelings to her, but yet she was the only girl lucky enough to have this handsome man love her unconditionally.
Tanish made her stand and then cupped her face and gazed in her eyes contently for a while and then sliding his hand at the nape of her neck and supporting her back with his other hand , he leaned in to kiss her inviting lips, his lips met hers and he kissed her very softly as he felt wanting for more, all his inner desires were alighted by her and his tongue entwined with hers exploring her mouth , he sucked her lips softly and the intensity of his kiss increased bit by bit which made her loose her sanity , his kiss was passionate yet hungry and a wanting one. He released her only when she was unable to breathe !
