Chapter 13: Reunion
During all these years of their separation, Tanish kept a close look on all her activities , he sometimes had her secretly followed just so that he could get a pic of her. He knew all that she had been through over these past years. It had been 8 years since they separated from each other but over all these years never even once did they date anyone. Initially Tanish's mom had set him up on various dates but after getting to know about his obsession about Aditi, she dropped the idea of setting him up with anyone and supported him through his persistent efforts for making himself capable of marrying Aditi.
On the other hand Aditi kept herself busy with developing her business empire while working as a Finance head for Ashoka Industries Ltd., She never thought of anyone and had made herself into a money making machine wherein she felt nothing about anyone around her but he was an exception to all her normal behavior.
And over all these years she still kept all his memories alive. She still treasured all the gifts he had given her , all his chats and calls were still stored in her secret drive , deep down in her heart, she still loved him unconditionally and treasured every thing connected to him. On the day on his birthday every year she used to buy him a present hoping against hope that one day they'll reunite and then she could gift him all these accumulated gifts. This obsession of her was very painful for her as she wasn't able to reciprocate the love she had for him.... nor did he ever try to contact her or to meet her over these 8 years. She was 27yrs old by now and he was 34yrs old now.
Her sister Dhruvi was now 19yrs old and she had sent her abroad for her further studies and to take care of her even her mom accompanied her to Switzerland.

After accomplishing all that he had planned to ; that year on 9th January , early in the morning when she was getting herself ready to head to the office for her morning meetings, she heard her doorbell ring, and after tying her hair in a quick messy bun she hurried to open the door and the sight in front of her left her stunned and she was in a shock. Outside her door was Tanish standing with a big bunch of her favorite red roses and a box of her favorite pastries. She was so surprised that she couldn't believe her eyes for once and she just slammed her door and stormed to her room thinking that she might be hallucinating as she missed him so much !
He felt bad for such an unwelcome behavior from her, but he knew it was all his fault. He again ringed her bell and again she hurried to the door in her half undone condition and yet she saw the same scene before her. She felt as if she was dreaming and so she took a step forward towards him and tried to touch him, but Midway in her attempt to touch him he grabbed her hand and kissed it gently to make her believe that he had come back just for her !
He specially waited for this day to surprise her by his comeback as this was her birthday ! The moment he kissed her hand , she was taken back to reality and seeing him, her eyes teared up and she felt all weak and felt unbearable amount of pain remembering the past; though she missed him a lot, she was angry with him and so with a jerk she freed her hand from his and slammed the door right on his face and yelled him to go away from her.
But her initial response and the tears in her eyes were more than enough to tell him how much she missed him. He was ready to bare her anger, he knew he had hurt her a lot , and he was here to make up to her for all the lost years of their separation!
After slamming the door she just slumped down leaning to the door itself, unable to control the tears that flooded her eyes and started crying non-stop, hearing her crying and sobbing he couldn't control himself and kept banging the door while asking her to open it. She just kept crying without moving even a bit ..... after a while he stopped banging and leaning beside the door he sat down all tired and depressed ... he was depressed by the thought that he had given her an unmeasurable amount of pain and unable to contain his guilt he cried non-stop. Both of them cried all day long sitting in the same position.
During this time Aditi's phone flooded with a number of calls from office , from her friends and family but none of them were answered by her , she sat by the main door crying all day long , late at night when she was done with all her crying and sobbing , she got up and went to her room and thinking of it as a bad dream , she started to tidy herself and after she was done , she got ready to hang out with Riya so that she could sort her thoughts and forget him for once.
Once she was ready she got down and headed towards the main door , grabbed her car keys and then opened the door.... there she saw him sleeping there leaning beside the door with those flowers tightly gripped in his hands and his eyes were swollen and the tears had dried up forming pattern on his handsome face . She felt so bad to see him in such a condition that she just couldn't keep up her angry facade any longer. She woke him up and helped him get inside the house , she gave him some water and then hugged him tightly just to make him feel better.
He hugged her tightly fearing to lose her again..... and he wished her on her birthday .
Her eyes instantly teared up as she wasn't able to react to his surprising comeback.
