Chapter 5: The Ugly Witch And A SURPRISE
She left me in a daze with a million thoughts running haywire in my head. I shook my head and looked at my watch, I was late. I cursed and broke out into a run towards my first class. If I had waited a little longer I would have seen a pair of eyes watching me. I would have heard the malicious laughter and the words that followed next. " Boy. You don't know what you have dragged yourself into. Hahaha, stay away from Grace or you will be ripped into shreds! To bad there can be no future for you. We'll see if you can escape". The voice said before turning into a raven and flying away.
I reached class and took the nearest seat to the door. I was lucky the teacher hadn't arrived yet, I took a few deep breaths and looked beside me. The person I was sitting next to was Emma Sails, curse my luck. I inwardly cursed. She twirled he hair and said " Oh Jacob honey how was your break? Did you miss me? I couldn't keep the disgust of my face. I just ignored her. She twisted her hair and she looked around and suddenly laughed.
I couldn't help but look around, suddenly she put her hand on my thigh and gave me a dazzling smile. A smile that could win a million hearts, too bad it didn't work on me. She said " Look at the table next to ours do you see it. That creature, the disgrace of her she's such a outcast plus she's the granddaughter of Eagle man. No wonder!" I looked at the table next to ours and I saw Grace. I felt the anger surge through me, all I wanted to do was bash Emma's head against the wall. Until.. She begged forgiveness from Grace. I was about to angrily retort when the Ms Asher entered the class. I gritted my teeth and swallowed, I couldn't afford to get in trouble I had to catch Grace after school not stay back. All throughout the day Emma wouldn't shut up and I just couldn't take it. Where was Johnah when I needed him, was he with Anasteshia? I needed to find him. Could this day get any worse at the exact same moment my eyes became heavy and my eyes closed. My last thought before slumber took me in was " Is this another dream? "
