Cassie and Shun meet up with Julius Kang's son the next day. Jason, along with his mother, Mina Kang, asked forgiveness for what the Kang caused to the Young family.

Mina told Cassie that she knew the scheme her ex-husband had been plotting. However, as a sickly person, Julius Kang threatens her that she will no longer see her son if she talks. Being weak, she just chooses to keep her silence through the years.
