Chapter 41: The Red Sparrow
Daichi steps out of the shower and wipes his body with a clean towel. He forgets about the scratches on his back, which makes him groan after the towel rubbed that part.
He grabs loose pants and gets out of his bedroom half-naked. Last night, he went home to his own pad, located in the Eastern part of this city opposite Kier and Rudolf's pad buildings.
Daichi spotted the woman comfortably sitting on his black leather sofa, tapping on his phone. She wore his T-shirt and foot rested on top of his coffee table.
He went straight to his kitchen and prepared some breakfast. He toasted some buttered bread and prepared sunny-side-up eggs, then some bacon. He made some cucumber salad mixed with lettuce and tomatoes.
He placed the two plates on the table when two arms wrapped around his waist. "I missed this..." she whispered in his ear.
Daichi turns around, and he kisses the woman passionately. After a long moment, the woman parted from him and laughed. "Are we going to have breakfast or not?"
"Hmm... okay. Let's eat," he remembers that Shun wants him first thing in the morning.
That guy seems not in the mood this morning, and he wasn't sure what triggered his excellent mood yesterday.
He wanted to spend more time with Riley because they are rare to be together as she works directly with the Chairman.
Well, who is she? Maybe he could say she is his girlfriend or not?
The truth is, he had already proposed to her twice, but Riley is a free bird who chose to fly as the Top Hitman known, the Red Sparrow. He can't cage her and lock her up.
While having breakfast, Riley discusses the virtual setup she created on his phone. Making strategies is Riley's expertise. Something is common about them. They exchange opinions on the best setup with the Security and their spots as the Eyes.
After breakfast, Riley pulled him up towards the shower room.

The Planner was trembling while doing his presentation. Of course, the meeting room is filled with gloominess. The air-conditioning is at its maximum cooling, but everyone's forehead is sweating.
What happened to their president again? He was in a good mood yesterday. They all let out a nervous sigh.
Shun is staring at the massive screen with a dark gaze. He doesn't speak, but he throws a fiery aura over the meeting room.
Blaire glances at her brother and then meets Kier's eyes. They converse through their eyes, gesturing what happened, but Kier just shrugged his right shoulder, answering he doesn't know anything. Shun had a big smile yesterday, so what happens now?
Kier glanced to his side where Daichi was seated. That guy is late.

Hiryuu Island: Hiryuu Senior High building
The school building seems quiet. But inside, students were in a mess. Their advisers were at a meeting for the upcoming Promenade next month. The school will hold a Festival before the night of the Promenade with the Seniors.
Cassie was busy typing on her laptop, finishing more paperwork to complete her projects. Joanna, who moves her table to face her, is busy playing on her own laptop. Their classmates also do random stuff like playing on their mobile phones, and others just fool around.
This scene is the same in every classroom in that building. From the outside, it was so peaceful, but then the students began coming outside and shouting. Others were yelling from their windows like they were almost jumping.
Most of them are the players addicted to the game Rudolf was developing. The teacher rushes to their classrooms to check out the students' behaviors.
Others were rolling on the floor. The teacher doesn't know how to calm down the students.
Currently, the Game Developer emailed them that a particular event will be held on the second anniversary of the game. They will give away some cash to the winners. That is why every player was busy upgrading and buying diamonds.
The Special Anniversary Event is almost over, the system is down, and no one can log in.
"Check the Discord!" Shouted by others.
They also check in to the forums and check their emails for announcements. But these incidents not only happen in one place but all over the world.
There are no announcements and no words from the developers. The discussion has been heated up and filled with cursing. Many express their disappointment and anger.
The Discord and other forums storm with millions of players, including Joanna.
Cassie was open-mouthed, watching her whining and jumping in front of her."Brother Rudolf must know something!?" she suddenly slammed her desk while staring at her."Are you sure about that?"
Cassie asked confusingly. She was stunned by the scenes. The school was too loud.

CM International Tech Office
Rudolf enjoyed his coffee while lying back on his chair. Kirk and Jules peeping on his door.
"Are you sure about this?" They asked worriedly, wondering about the significant impact on the game.
Rudolf smiled without worries. "Relax, we have a whale backup. Don't worry about the sponsor."
The two guys glance at each other. Well, Rudolf explained this very well about this. He has complete control of everything, and he has backup plans after this.
Jimmy entered his office and sat in one of the chairs in front of his desk.
"Ah, I can't read the discussions anymore. My eyes are tired of reading millions of messages. I'm going to sleep."
"Let's order some pizza!"

The president began asking difficult questions. The board and the Executives tried to satisfy him with their convincing answers.
Daichi entered the meeting room and sat next to Shun. He handed him his phone. Instantly, a smile planted on his lips.
All the personnel inside that meeting room wanted to pass out.
Shun read the message Cassie sent to Daichi.
"Brother Daichi, can I call brother Shun? There's something I wanted to ask him if he is not busy."
