CASSIE'S POV
Another day had gone by quickly. Cassie pulled herself out of her bed to prepare for school. It was Friday, but she felt like she didn't want to go to school today.
She never had this fun, but only when she was with her parents. And remembering last night, Cassie's lips parted into a wide smile. Last night, she felt pure happiness... it was like she was still dreaming this morning when she woke up.
Cassie opened the faucet and washed her face to be fully awake; she must hurry for school. After taking a quick shower, she wears semi-formal clothing.
On this island, they were allowed to wear any dress on Fridays and then change into their PE uniform during the period.
She wore a high-neck white blouse paired with a blue-white striped halter dress in which the length was above her knee. She felt it was a little revealing, as she wore underclothing to cover her skin. One of her close friends in France, Cara, gave her these sets of dresses on her 16th birthday.
Shun already notified her last night that he didn't want her to ride her bike to school to be sent by car. She doesn't want to agree in this setting, but her bike tires are flat now, and Shun doesn't want to fix them, so she cannot refuse.
She picks up her bag and puts her PE uniform inside. Cassie chose navy blue flat shoes that made her foot look pretty on them. She also braided her hair and pulled it to the side.
Downstairs was, Shun, Rudolph, and Daichi sitting in the living room and discussing something. The three men look up and watch her step down the staircase. Her cheeks have gotten red.
She is uncomfortable being stared at by them, so she can't look straight and meet their eyes.
"Good morning Master Shun, Mr. Rudolph, Mr. Daichi..." she greeted them and partly bowed her head.
Daichi could not hold not to whistle, but Rudolph elbowed him instantly. "Eh... I didn't mean to--" he did not finish his sentence because the boss was throwing an evil look at him. Daichi scratched his head."Good morning, Cassie..." Shun greeted her.

SHUN'S POV
In the living room, seated on the long sofa, Shun has coffee with Rudolph and Daichi while discussing crucial matters. They heard light footsteps from upstairs, and so they looked up.
Watching Cassie taking the stairs, Shun could not blink even once as admiration showed in his eyes. Her semi-formal clothing made her look like a fully bloomed lady, and he had to blink several times to return to his senses, thanks to Daichi's foolishness.
"Good morning, Cassie," he replied, realizing Cassie had greeted them. "After you have breakfast, I'll drive you to school," he announced.
Fascinated, he held himself tearing a smile while peering at her reaction. Finally, she's meeting his gaze, and with big eyes. She's cute reacting like this.
"Ahem! I'm going to Seagull Resort to have a meeting with my engineers. I will drop you as it is the same as your school," he reasons.
"Oh, I see. Okay, Master.... I'll have my breakfast fast," she then made long steps toward the kitchen."Take your time, okay? Don't eat hurriedly," Shun reminded her.

Silence is the most uncomfortable part; when two strangers are together in the car. Cassie is anxious for her Master to hear how fast her heartbeat is alone with him.
After what happened yesterday, her heart should be settled and at ease whenever she is around him. Confused, she doesn't understand why her heart is acting like this and why she's very nervous.
"What is the usual time your lunch break begins?" asked Shun after a long moment. They are now halfway to her school.
"Um... around 11:30, Master Shun," she replied.
"I see. I will pick you up during your lunch break."
Dumbfounded, the words stuck in her mouth. Cassie just stared at him, her eyes questioning her Master.
"Since I will stay in the resort the whole day, and it is closer to your school, I'll fetch you for us to have lunch together."
Shun stopped the car and then waited for her to answer. She remained silent, and so Shun glanced at her. "Do you have another plan?"
She looked up but tried to hide her blushing face. "No. I don't have any plans, Master. All right," she nodded as to agree.
Shun smiled, then opened the driver's seat door and stepped out. Cassie wonders why he gets out of the car and walks around to open her door. In a state of puzzlement, she realized they had already arrived at the school.
How come they arrived fast? Or because she was busy settling down her heartbeats, that is why she didn't notice.
She sighed in embarrassment. "Thank you, Master."
"You are very welcome."
She bowed partly; then, she started walking fast towards her school building without looking back. She notices that everyone is curiously staring at her and then glances at her behind, and all the girls were like starstruck by someone.
When she turned around, she bumped into Shun's broad chest and touched her forehead.
"Watch out," Shun right away held both of her shoulders.
She glances at his hand, which is still holding her.
"Are you alright?" he asked worriedly.
"I- I am okay, Master... I am just surprised," she cannot speak well when her chest beats crazily. "Why are you following me, by the way?" dazedly, she asked.
Shun replied with a smile on his lips. "I wanted to meet your Homeroom Teacher. I was about to ask you, but you suddenly left immediately."
"Ah..." How embarrassing! She screams inside her head. "Okay, master... this way." She turns around, then resumes her steps.
She was blushing, not to mention they had a lot of audience. What are her schoolmates going to think about? She wanted to run to hide her embarrassment inside her classroom.
Cassie introduced Mr. Ken Chan, her Homeroom Teacher, to her Master.
"Please, to meet you, Mr. Chan..." said Shun.
"The pleasure is mine, Mr. Crow." The forty-year-old teacher clasps Shun's hand and keeps shaking it with his two hands.
Cassie coughs. The teacher then releases Shun's hand but continues bowing.
"I am Cassandra's guardian from now on," Shun informed the teacher.
"Ah. I see..." the teacher laughs nervously. "Miss Cassandra is a very excellent pupil, nothing you have to worry about, Mr. Crow!" the teacher boasts.
Cassandra listens silently to their conversation. She cannot help but blush and is still surprised by her Master's statement.
"That's great to hear, Mr. Chan... and I also hope that, aside from that, you'll let me know of other things that happen."
"Ah! Are you talking about the treatment of Miss Cassandra? You have nothing to worry Mr. Crow. Everyone is good to her. Her father is a very remarkable man!"
The teacher complimented her late father. Though she often heard someone praising her Papa, her heart was proud and happy.
Shun glanced at her and smiled, but she averted her gaze quickly. Bell for the first period now rang, and so the other students ran to their respective classrooms.
"Hoy! I am always telling you that no one should be running in the hallway!" Teacher Ken yells at the students passing them, but they ignore him. Poor teacher Ken. "I'm sorry about that, Mr. Crow..."
"Ah, no problem. It is time for me to go to my meeting as well."
"I see. Thank you for visiting, Mr. Crow." Teacher Ken bowed.
"Ah, it's a small thing."
"Goodbye, Mr. Crow!"
Shun nodded and then glanced at Cassie. "See you later."
"Yes, Master Crow." She wanted to add, 'Have a good day,' but she still felt awkward. "Goodbye."
Though she began feeling familiarity between them, she still felt embarrassed. Her heart wouldn't stop pounding crazily, especially when Shun announced he was her guardian.
"Goodbye, Cassandra."
