CASSIE'S POV
The Junior High and Senior High heard the loud clang of the bell. It reminds them that morning classes are over for the day. Now all the students and the teachers could have a lunch break, and almost everyone brought their lunch to school, and a few of them chose to go home as living nearby.
Before Cassie could get up from her desk, first-year students were looking for her.
"Senior! Someone is looking for you!" they informed her.
Cassie stared at the first year's faces, flustered as a star had struck them.
"Okay, thank you," she said to them after one of the girls told her where her visitors waited, which was in the school front garden.
She wonders who they are that made these freshmen girls hardly utter the words straight to her.
Cassie was surprised to see Mr. Daichi and Mr. Jin,g who waited for her in the front garden. She looks around to check out whether her Master has come as well. But to her dismay, she saw no shadow of that man.
Why does she feel a little disappointed? She talked to herself, then shook her head to ignore these crazy thoughts that began running inside her head.
She first glances at Me. Jing then bows before she turns her attention to Daichi. "Mr. Daichi, are you here to pick me up?" she asked as she began feeling troubled.
"Oh, no. We're here to give you your lunch box," Daichi replied, handing her a large lunch box wrapped nicely.
"Huh? Why?" She looked up higher as the two men were very tall, and surprise was written all over her face.
"What? Why? Are you on a diet? Why do girls need a diet? Why are you all so concerned about your weight?" Daichi asks her questions she's not prepared to answer.
However, she's never on a diet. She's not picky at all, and she eats all the food she thinks is safe to be eaten. She sighed, then replied. "I am not on a diet, Mr. Daichi. I was never."
"Oh, that's good!" his smile widens, and he winks at her. "Girls should just eat healthy foods!" he added.
"Advice from someone who has no diet at all but gets drunk all the time," Mr. Jing commented, which made Cassie giggle.
"Hey, Jing! That's not proper to say in front of a lady!" He returned to Jing.
Cassie could see how that made Daichi blush a little. She knew that the faculty teachers were also curiously peeking out their windows. Anyways, she could feel that all the eyes were watching them as they talked in front of the school building.
"Mr. Daichi, Mr. Jing, thank you so much for having trouble bringing me my lunch. But I can go home for lunch."
"No, not at all..." Mr. Jing replied.
"What are you talking about, Missy? How could you go home and then return to school without being late? The boss doesn't like it at all," Daichi said. He added, "The distance was this far!"
He gestured his hand while speaking. He was demonstrating the distance through air.
She was surprised to hear how Daichi mentioned the Master. "Um, I am used to it already, Mr. Daichi... and there's a shortcut I can--" She can't finish her excuses when Daichi raises his right arm.
"No, no... that's exactly what the boss disagrees with. From now on, Auntie Ling will make your lunch, and Jing will bring them to you when I ain't here," Daichi pointed to himself. "Okay?" then do a thumbs up.
"But, that's a lot of trouble for all of you. I can make my lunch before coming to school in the morning," she wanted to refuse this new concept they were offering her.
Cassie thought."Freshly cooked food you must have! This is too much! Just give up, Missy!" Daichi is peering at her with an intent gaze.
"Okay?" he then smiles.
Cassie could sense that Daichi gave her a brother-like aura; she couldn't refuse further with this.
"Miss just agreed to this new setting... please, don't take away my job," Mr. Jing earnestly pleaded behind his black sunglasses.
She sighed, then gave up. "All right. How could I win?" she blushes slightly.
Daichi's smiles were getting wider this time, staring at her cute blushing face.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Daichi, Mr. Jing..." She bowed at them as a gesture of appreciation.
"Don't mention it, Missy!" Daichi waved his hand while Jing nodded at her.
"We're going back to the Villa now, Missy. See you later. Jing will pick you up after school."
"Wait! Please, no, can I go home with my bike later?" she stares at the two guys with pleading eyes. "I just... I can't just use it yet, and I was like...." she said slowly but couldn't utter another word.
Daichi and Jing glance at each other. "Okay, just for today! But you should talk to the boss, hum?" Daichi replied.
He is spoiling her. Cassie smiled. "Talk to the boss later when you arrive home, okay?" Daichi reminded me seriously.
Cassie nodded while watching them walk toward the black car that was parked nearby.
"Later, Missy!" Daichi winks while gesturing a salute before entering the black Mercedes-Benz and slowly exiting the school's main gate.
The car now disappears when someone jumps on her.
"Miss Young! How dare you!"
