Chapter 2: The mountain wolf
It was a sunny day in the grassland of the Hao tribe . As the wind blew past the tents of the tribal people.The men were out hunting or feeding their cattles as the women stayed at home making clothes from animal skins.
At a corner behind a certain tent there was a boy at the age of 9years seen crying ,his name was Han chi meaning to be dependent on others so that he might survive in the future with his weak body.He was the boy who was bullied by everyone in the village as he was weak and skinny from the time he was born with an average face so his parents did not love him as in a world where the strong rules he was discarded.He was without any without any bloodline from their Gods or ancestors who used to ride on horses and sweep through the grassland hunting heads.Being a pure normal human in an evolved world where mutant beast roam around with many other races of species he was alone.
This time again he was currently crying because the village kids refused to play with him and bullied him like any other day .The stronger kids were telling stories about how they and their fathers hunt dangerous beast which of course the telling the others more than the real truth about how they along with their fathers saw snake eat a bull whole and how they saw a lion as big as an elephant.He wanted to listen but was chased out of the group and beat up. Thus he was watching from a distance .
Suddenly a voice behind said "Han why are you hiding and crying there, quickly go and help your mother clean and cook the meat at home.At least be useful at home and help your mother."the voice was rough and emotionless as if talking to an ant.This was Han chi's father ,he was the head hunter of the village and was ashamed to have such a weakling son ,he has 3 children they were all boys.Han chi was the youngest ,his eldest brother was the strongest boy and youngest hunter in the village ,his brother was liked and loved by everyone along with his parents so he was arrogant and often bullied Han.His younger brother was also strong and came after his elder brother only in the village and his personality was also the same cocky and arrogant but as the head Hunter's son's and strongest boys nobody did anything to them . However everyone in the village knew that tha head Hunter's family did not love Han so they often vented the frustration they felt towards his family to him.
When he heard the voice he wiped his tears and said emotionlessly like his father in a low voice,"Yes,father"And he ran back to a tent with the most animal skin which was his family's .He went in and there was a woman in her late 30's ,her beauty was just above average which was considered beautiful in their nomad lifestyle environment.She saw her son walk in again with red eyes after which she understood without saying any any words of encouragement she shook her head disappointedly and said,"Go and fetch water in the river nearby" she knew if he went to the well in the village he will be bullied again so even if she didn't love him ,he was his son so he didn't like to see him bullied .
He just answered,"Ok"and went out with a bucker made with leather from animals.His mother when he was younger showed little love in hope that he might get better some day but alas after knowing he had no hope she also abondoned him.
He went far to a river just below a mountain where he always wnet when he felt sad . After he fetched the water and was about to go the place called home by others home .He head some noice in the nearby grass as if something was passing through the grass .Being in an apocalyptic world he was careful and quickly climbed the nearest tree .
Then suddenly a wolf as huge as a bull came out and took his water bucket in a flash .After a while he came down and followed the wolf for he knew if he came back without the bucket he would be beaten near death by his father.As he followed the wolf it went up the mountain and after running for awhile it went inside a cave which he would have never found without the wolf .When he peep inside the cave he was shocked because he saw the wolf giving the water to a man who seemed to be heavily injured and near death .
The man suddenly looked at where he was and they stared at each other eye to eye .The wolf was getting ready to jumb at him but the man stopped it .He was surprised to how the fearsome bull wolf listened to its command like a child .
Then the man said ,"Why are you standing there ,come inside boy".
