Chapter 12: Pop Group
What makes a great group is really a friendship.
That's something only few maintained.
Spice Girls, TLC and Little Mix are the only girl groups that a Friendship was a major part of their success.
I did notice in interviews with Normani. Fifth Harmony didn't really end being that. I don't think none of them are friends. They might be cordial and say hi. Like Normani was to Camila Cabello at the VMAS. But I think none of them are friends in real life. Without that connection like a family unit. The group would implode eventually.
Hell even for boy bands. Look at NSYNC. They can perform together and admire each other. However the four members who want a reunion are still mad at Justin for ending the group without telling them.
But the backstreet boys are a tight unit best friends and family. And almost 30 years later. They're still here performing and selling out tours.

Friendship. With that. Everything is more powerful and the bond can never be broken.
