Chapter 3: Acceptance
"Liza's fever hasn't reduced ...if this continues it could lead to serious problem "the school nurse told the warden .Very soon with her mother's permission she was taken to the hospital.The news turned her world around ...but she did not want to tell Pepe about .
She knew it wasn't going to be easy ...but she had to do it...she had to accept it to him .She took a deep breath and walked into the room.It was dusk ..the sky had a beautiful reddish glow .There he was sitting near the window ...he was working hard on something.She took a step closer ,she realised it was the model of a house .She stood there as memories passed through her mind .They had as usual bunked the most boring class and sneaked out of the boarding school.They were walking on the quiet streets of the city.They were completely engrossed in some conversation and she suddenly popped the question.She asked him what he would become when he grew up...he paused for a while And he replied saying he was to become a scientist.She giggled ...he changed he said,"actually an architect would be it"She turned to him looked into his eyes and that was when she told him she said,"Pepe we have been friends for a long time now n I hope we always remain as friends but that's not all i hope ,I hope I spend my entire life with you ....I want you to build a house for us wil you I wanna live in it with you."
He had told her that he would definitely build a house for them but to fulfill her desire he would make a model.How honest ....here he was working on it.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she thought of what was gonna happen next.She wiped her tears off and walked over to him.She quietly sat next to him she rested her head on his shoulders ...she could feel his cozy warmth against her cheeks.He was a guy of hard will but if she did not tell him now when the news of her death would reach him it would smack him hard.So,she had to tell him.N there you go she said it ...The Hardest Truth ....doing anything but looking into her eyes .She could feel his body stiffening.He took her chin n bought her face straight to his... they looked at each other for a good long while .He cupped her chin delicately as if she was made of feathers.He bent down until his lips touched hers.He could feel her lips, he could actually taste the sweetness that lies inside her on her lips alone.
He could not imagine life without her all his dreams all his desires to stay with her forever would be broken? When they parted the kiss ,he too had tears rolling down his cheeks tht was the first time he cried in many days.
But Liza's dreams weren't over yet ,she had a few last wishes n dreams ...she wanted to create memories ...beautiful memories tht she could carry while stepping onto heaven and leave the copies behind for Pepe to cherish.....
