"Thank you," said Lauriel, smiling. They leaned back on the boat and rested while watching the beautiful scenery along the banks of the Amazon river that they passed. It was such a beautiful place.
Lauriel spent a lot of money on nature conservation projects in this region. He would not let one of his favorite places in the world to be ruined further by human's actions. He still remembered the first time he set foot in the interior of the Amazon.
In the past, this place was truly wild, pristine, and there were hundreds of indigenous tribes living in it. They all had their local wisdom and so many sources of knowledge related to nature. Lauriel really missed the old Amazon.
