Chapter 3: Another Crazy Old Man
Eric PoV:
when Eric finally came two he was still in the body of the creature he transformed into. "How do I get out of this?" he tried to say but only roars came out. when he looked around the he did not see Natsu but could smell him.

Eric started to follow the sent of Natsu through the woods.
Natsu's PoV:
after Eric passed out I sat there waiting for him to wake up bat after two days I was starving, so I went out to hunt. along the way I found some strange tracks and I thought. "these could be Igneel's tracks." Natsu followed the tracks until he came across a little man wearing a funky hat.
"Who are you?" Natsu asked the strange old man,
" I'm master Makarov Dreyar of the Fairy Tail guild, what are you doing out in the forest alone?
I'm looking for my dad and try to find some food.
well my boy why don't you come to fairy tail, we have food and you can look to see if anyone has seen your dad. said Makarov as he started to walk away
"Okey!" Natsu said as he followed along.
Eric's PoV:
I have been following Natsu's scent for close to an hour now but now I smell someone or something else in his scent. I started to run faster as the scent got stronger when suddenly a giant fist hit me side ways. looking around I see a short old man with a funky hat about to attack me again. as he started to swing his fist towards me I duck and rake my claws in to his arm. I soon see Natsu standing behind a tree not two far from the old man. "OMG this guy is a pervert." thought Eric as he tried to get between him and Natsu. The old man kept him from getting close to Natsu. when Eric got knock back again and was about to charge toward the old man Natsu stood between them.
Natsu's PoV:
I was following gramps for a little while when he suddenly stopped and told me to hide behind a nearby tree. I was wondering what was going on when I saw gramps punch a lion type monster. by the time I realized it was Eric they were already in a fight. Eric dug his claws into gramps and was knocked away when Eric was about to charge again I ran in between them and screamed, "stop fighting."
it took a moment before gramps asked, "do you know this monster?"
"Yes I do he was human like me before he transformed into that creature." Natsu said looking confused.
Eric's PoV:
I stop fighting when Natsu ran between us so I wouldn't hurt him, but I kept a close eye on the old man. when Natsu answered the old man's questions he just looked at me and said, "It looks like you don't know how to change back." I looked at him and nodded my head. Then the old man said, " Relax and think about your human form and activate your magic." I did as he said and to my surprise I started to shift back to a short red headed pretty boy.

"Thanks." I said to the old man
"not at all my boy." he replied
"so who are you?" I asked
"I am master Makarov Dreyar of the fairy tail guild." he said
"Well Mr Makarov what do you want with Natsu?" I asked defensively
" I offered him a place where he can eat and find his father and maybe make some friends. would you like to come along and check it out ? " he replied cheerfully
"Sure" I replied as we started to make are way through the woods
