Chapter 42: I’m doomed
As the number 1005 said the same lines as the 4 before I realized that there was a certain script we had to prepare.
I'm also 1000% positive that Liu Wei knew I was suppose to prepare this but just didn't tell me.
I look over and the girl next to me steps forward and is getting ready to read her lines.
I'm doomed.
She started her eyes slightly teary but not exactly crying.
1007- "Why? Couldn't it have been me. I gave you everything. EVERYTHING. And yet you still choose her every single time."
Staff- "STOP. Next."
They just? Stopped her?
She looked shocked and just turned around and walked back towards the place next to me.
Her acting wasn't that bad needed a bit of improvement but overall not terrible.
Thinking about it though. That's most likely the farthest anyone has gotten so far from this group.
I step forward, my legs ready to give out under me as I calmly explain.
Haley: "Sorry I um... Didn't know there was a script to prepare can I just get the script and read?"
My eyes showed my determined will.
The staff scuffed before speaking.
Staff: " Unless one of the girls here is willing to give you the script. Get out."
Okay. Ruthless.
I turn around my eyes pleading with anyone that will help me.
The girls that were glaring at me earlier started to snicker and whisper under their breath.
And suddenly I lost hope. A big company and this is how I mess it up.
Until one of the first girls stepped forward calmly handed me her script and stepped back.
I smiled at her and turned back around.
Calm down. Deep breaths. Cue the tears. And action
Haley: "Why? Why couldn't it have been me? I gave you everything. EVERYTHING." I stopped holding my breathe before releasing it and saying "And yet you choose her. Every. Single. Time." Snickering slightly I laugh and turn away from the staff and continue. "I realize that you don't love me. But hating me didn't have to be the other option." Wiping my tears away I turn back around to finish.
"I understand. I really do." My head dropped down to look at the floor. "I wanna say i'll be happy for you. But I won't. One day I hope you realize that you should've chosen me," looking up again I finish the last words. "I was worth the fight." I ended the dialogue my voice cracking at the last word.
Staring at the judges there was nothing but silence and their faces were completely straight.
Oh no. Did I do that bad?
