Chapter 4: Unlimited magic supply muahahaha
With the look my mother staring at me it made me think like this is some kind of test. Well I don't care if it is test or not I'm going to ask for what I need the most I don't have time to dwell on what she is thinking.
"Want to learn healing spells first the kind which doesn't need material things". I said to my mother looking straight at her eyes but what I saw there made me wonder. I think I saw disappointment and happiness at the same time. Which is weird. My mother made me memories a whole section of a book and it was written by herself. I wanted to memories other parts too but sadly I couldn't open any section other then healing.
I was a top student in high school and rebirth gave a boost to my memorising ability so it didn't take much time for me to devour it all.
In the afternoon mother took me to an abandoned orphanage. At least I thought that it was abandoned because of its condition. But amazingly enough people were living there. Children, women, old people, homeless people there were all kind of people there.
Seeing us there not many people gave any reaction, which made me suspicious because it can mean only 2 things. One that they don't care Who comes and goes and second is that my mother came here often.
"The people here are sickly. You can start treating them. This is a good place to practice healing spells. Choose a patient, I'll assist you in your first healing". That's what my mother said.
I thought I'll start with small animals and go from there, I never thought that the first healing will be human. I don't want to hurt anyone and I can't show my weak side either so I choose a really sickly child. It looked like he wouldn't be able to hold onto much longer.
Mother guided me and I did as I was told when she told me to release my hold on the power and I did exactly that. Which caused a magic boom, a loud magic boom. So loud it will make any supernatural being to blanched. Luckily no human can here it. And I fainted. As I was dropping to the ground i said to myself 'good job Eva first healing results you to faint, how you gonna help anyone. Damn.'
When I woke up I felt like I had been hit by a truck. I looked around and I was still in the orphanage and my mother was really happy. I looked at her with the expression of WHAT NOW.
She laughed and said "You have a really large reservoir of magic. First spell rarely works, but yours first spell worked really well not just on one patient but all the people in the orphanage same treatment are recovered. I checked. But you need to work on how much power you release. Since you have really huge amount of magic don't open the Barrier all at once just let a small amount out."
I looked at all the healthy people who were sick before and my jaw dropped. Unlimited magic supply!
