Chapter 268: Cheap Trick!

Lee Xuiye frowned as a disheartening sight came in front of her. The entire living room had been filled with a smell of smoke that she caught the whiff of cigarettes in her nostrils.

Mo Lingtan seemed to have dozed off on the couch with a half-burnt cigarette in between his fingers and it had burnt his fingers as well.

Mo Lingtan felt movement near him as he opened his drowsy eyes and caught the sight of his wife's face.

"When did you come in?" Mo Lingtan asked in a hoarse voice.

Lee Xuiye didn't answer him, she just removed her sandals and wore her home slippers, opened the window to let some fresh air come inside, and then she took the cigarette from his fingers and doused it into an ashtray.
