Rose P.O.V.
'Urg!!! Where is he?! It's already been a few hours since Cade went on a run, I wonder if he's feeling alright? If I find just lazing around im gonna-!!!
no. no. Relax.
Rose you are here to apologize and to thank him then tell him to go back to the pack house to eat dinner, that's it. okay. I can do this.'
Just as I turned to face the other direction to search in the west side of the surrounding forest. A scent hits my nose.
'Cade!'
Running to him in my human form 'yeah Ulrika hasn't spoken to me since... I'm starting to think I lost her but then, I never felt the pain of the separation so she maybe just in a deep slumber?' I started to get closer to him till I saw him but found that he wasn't alone.
Quickly I hid behind the nearest tree a bit too close to them might I add. Oh boy, I hope they didn't notice me.
{Cade} "I ALREADY SAID NO! I had nothing to do with him!!!"
{?} "YOU SICKO BASTARD!!! MAN WHORE!!! YOU WERE JUST JEALOUS THAT I LOVE HIM MORE THAN I DO YOU!!!"
{Cade} "I AM NOT A WHORE! IF ANYONE IT SHOULD BE YOU!!!"
{?} "HOW DARE YOU!!!"
{Cade} "How dare me?!? HOW DARE YOU! GOD DAMIT ALEXIS, I begged you to give me a chance, for months you had shunned me, laughing at my love for you. And when i thought you finally gave me that chance, the day after I once again felt the pain of your betrayal! I pretended not to notice because I had loved you, because you were my mate. I was afraid of losing you, knowing you distance yourself the more others try to get close. Then you disappeared for months and I had searched for you day and night, not sleeping a wink I thought I had lost you for good! I never even got a clue as to if you were still alive... Then when I had found you again, turns out you had gotten a witch to block off the bond and get married, and that was when I had finally given up on you... on us. I had even wished you and your husband the best, thinking that I wasn't good enough and that you had deserved better. For the past few years I never even got a 'hi' from you and now when you show yourself again it is to accuse me of working with him to play you?! God. I had nothing to do with his mistress!"
{Alexis} "WELL I HAD DONE ALL THOSE THINGS TO GET YOU TO NOTICE ME!!! TO GET YOU TO STOP ME FROM DOING THOSE THING!!! BUT YOU NEVER ONCE DID SO! I THOUGHT YOU HAD NEVER REALLY LOVED ME!
{Cade} "Well if I did, would you have really accepted me then?"
{Alexis} "OF COURSE I WOULD HAVE!"
{Cade} "Don't. Just don't lie to me, I kept asking you to be mine, I kept waiting for you to turn around and look at me. When we had first met you already rejected me but I never accepted it. You called me weak, four eyes, twig arms, loser, and many more that I can't even remember anymore! You don't want me; you want the power I hold now. You only want me now because your husband found his true mate!"
{Alexis} "WELL IT ISNT MY FAULT HE HAD A MATE! AND IT CERTAINLY ISNT MY FAULT THAT YOU WERE SUCH A WASHOUT FREAK!"
{Cade} "Wow. Thanks for proving my point"
{Alexis} "You-!"
At that moment she raised her hand to claw at Cade with her newly grown were nails but he made no movements to defend. Before I knew it my body had moved on its own. I now stood in front of Cade with both arms stretched to the side in a defensive manner.
Fresh blood slowly dripped down my cheek in small droplets from the three newfound cuts. looking straight into her eyes I spoke with a voice full of power, one even stronger than an alpha's.
{Rose} "You. KNEEL!"
Alexis immediately dropped into a kneeling position with her head cast downwards. Behind me I felt Cade jolt a bit, but continues to stand straight since my command was not directed at him.
{Rose} "You are in no position to accuse him of anything. You do not even deserve to eve look at him in his eyes. He is a strong-hearted, funny, kind, and amazing person and I just don't see how suck a fool could reject or deserve him. He is someone well-liked by everyone and is the role model and hero of children, no, even myself. But you don't even know that do you! I want you to leave at once and never return. If I see you again, I will not hesitate to end your life!"
With fear clearly staining her face, she turned to leave and ran away not even daring to look back as she knew... no. Her wolf knew the difference between us.
{Cade} "W-why are y-you here?"
I faced him to see him slightly shaking but he had his eyes set on mine.
{Rose} "I'm here to apologize about always blaming you for the things you didn't do. I'm sorry" at that I bowed to show that I really am sorry.
{Cade} "E-eh?! Ah y-yeah. it's no problem."
I stood straight again and smiled gently at him. Seeing this he calmed down and mirrored my smile.
{Cade} "Thanks. For being there." he had a slight blush appearing on his cheeks accompanying his infamous smile.
{Rose} "No problem. Hey, let's get back to the pack house. The others are getting worried."
{Cade} "For me? Well that's a first!!!"
at that I couldn't help but give a small chuckle.
{Rose} "No you idiot, It's just for some apparent reason the kids won't eat if you aren't there!"
{Cade} "Ehhhh?!"
I laugh again. he's so cute!
{Rose} "Neither can I, now c'mon."
Blood rushed up to his face. Tinting even his ears pink
{Cade} "R-Rose, I- I think I love you!"
My eyes widened into practically the size of plates and heat rushed to my face. Nnuuu I might look like a tomato right now! but... I didn't really care. The world seemed to pause around us.
{Rose} "W-why?"
{Cade} a pokerfaced graces his face "Well... as I can see, you are an idiotic fan girl who falls for the first prince she sees. A headstrong woman who just barges right through and is capable of doing things by herself. A geek who locks herself up in her room all day to read, not to mention your obsessive hobby over icecream and hot boys. You had already helped me so many times I've lost count when it should be the guy doing that. And only a complete and utter idiot can fall in love with you."
{Rose} "Hey!!!" I scowl. Then that same gentle smile from a while ago appeared on his face but it seems more... Dazzling than the last.
{Cade} "But I'm one of those idiots, so from now on let me be the one to protect you. Rose I love you, will you become mine?"
{Rose} "You idiot you've also protected me as well so... I- I guess I could give it a try."
{Cade} "Wat?! If you just want to give it a try then nevermind. I'm leaving." he turns around and starts walking away.
{Rose} "What?! Wait!!! No no no!!! I want! I want to be your girlfriend!!!"
I run over to him but he suddenly stops and turns around. Trapping me in a hug and planting a kiss on my forehead.
{Cade} "I was just kidding. I love you Rose."
{Rose} "Y-you!~ i... I love you too."
He leans in closer as do I till our noses were only a centimeter apart. I slowly close my eyes as soft warmth slowly touches my lips. The electricity I had once forgotten had spread and reached my toes. At that moment I knew, that I could entrust myself to him. I really do love this idiot.
