I remember it vividly,
the day when i first saw you;
in your pair of bright neon green shoes
Your invitation kept me wild
as i walked across the mid court line
No referee, no rules
i stepped up to you
I found you on Snapchat,
what a wonderful tool
who could have known
it made me a fool
You are like butter
I am the bread
the simplest match
yet too perfect
We talked and talked
with a couple of fights
from what you thought,
i have plenty of lights
And as time passes,
the mould will grow
All i am left with
is the knife you used
I wished for time
and dreamt of you
but as dew comes
i lost touch of you
The clear mid court line
drew by you
to get me out,
of the game you rule
We are on each end
with your bright neon red shoes
and this was a friendly match
which i admit that i lose
