I went outside to the college gym to workout and managed to get into a game with some older folk. They was your normal type of people who played in the higher level than highschool.
Random : Alright yall we gon' pick captains and those captains choose teams.
So two people got picked and the picks were pretty mixed one chose a center for the team the other picked his friend. I was last pick for some odd reason, maybe it was because I looked like junior high school kid.
Mike : Yo yo yo, team how it goin'
Random : Names Higashi I only picked you because theres no one else here, expect the ball not to come.
Random2 : Cmon Higashi give the kid a chance I say we give him the possession for the first play and see if he's worth anything.
Higashi : Alright fine Ika, it's just a pickup game anyway
It seems these two were looking to see if I was any good and gave me the first possesion. These guys were way too fucking huge. Jesus christ college kids are tough, I still managed to blow pass the guy with my small frame and speed. I saw he was trying to catchup to me so I did a back step hesitation and went back into the paint for an attempt at a score, I instead passed the ball to the guy in the corner who was wide.
Higashi : Woah what the fuck ah shit gotta shoot
The shot went and It seemed like it missed but Ika jumped and took the ball with both this hands and put it back in the basket.
Mike : Nice putback bro!
Ika : Why didn't you just lay it up?
Mike : Oh I was injured last year and I am still recuperating, this is my first game since then.
Higashi : Oh brotherr.... Welp you're still pretty decent for a kid anyway, just pass the ball unless you are wide open for a shot.
The pain in this stupid fucking leg was not even physical it just felt wrong to step with that foot while jumping. It seems I have to fix this but I don't really know how to, I will look it up online after this match.
As the match went on I kept on passing by my opponent but my opponent stole the ball from me with great speed all of a sudden as if they were waiting for it. I went to defend and they scored sadly I couldn't become the best defender and scorer in the court. I passed this time to Ika who was a bigman but not really, he looked pretty skinny but other than that his height was on top. He did a post spin with a fake for a layup and then hooked the ball into the net. Man this Hall of Fame diffuculty is really showing.
The match ended with Higashi hitting a layup on two people.

Mike bowed to Higashi as he was the stronger one in scoring and vision. Higashi seemed to be a 1st string player in the college scene of Basketball. Ika as well was respectable in his own height and technical game.
Mike : So... could I come everyday and practice with you guys?
Ika : Kid we only play on days we don't have practice which is like Wendsday and Friday, wait dont tell me you practice everyday and all day?
Mike : Yes I do!
Higashi : Well kid don't over do it and focus on your exams
Mike : What exams?
