For a First Stage of Focus Practitioner, just using Natural Energy for a few times have a huge toll of the body and will immediately make them exhausted but Rin seemed to be just fine at all because first, he just used Natural Energy for a second time and second, his body is tougher than the others and on top of that, he has the Mark of the Godslayer. Although the specific benefits of the Mark of the Godslayer was still unknown but Rin was more comfortable using Natural Energy than getting forced to instead of the other way around since being forced to use Natural Energy means it will automatically rejuvenate your body to avoid death.
Rin stretched both his arms as he stepped forward towards the bodyguard of Mr. Tong who challenged him again.
'This… is going to be tough.", he did feel the pressure of a Fourth Stage of Focus Practitioner even though it did not affect him that much. If compared to his current power, he had now way of winning.
However, Rin didn't have a single thought of winning, he stopped and looked at the eyes of the Bodyguard, "I'm sure not going to win this one..", Rin didn't tilt his head much since the Bodyguard was only a head taller.
Mr. Tong in the other hand, looked down upon Rin and smirked, "Glad that you know that.", he whispered. He then looked at his watch: it was just 9:46 pm, the night was still long from ending.
The bell rang;
Rin was very cautious and observed every possible movement his opponent can do and thought of a "counterattack"
The Bodyguard had not moved but instead said quietly, "If you know that you're not going to win, why not surrender?", the Bodyguard was being considerate for Rin.
"I don't need that since I won't lose either.", Rin smiled widely but was even barely noticed by the Bodyguard since Rin was wearing a facemask.
The Bodyguard smiled back, "It's your choice.", the dark blue light showed yet again, surrounding the Bodyguard.
Rin assumed another stance and said, "Let's have a good fight, Mr. Bodyguard."
"My name is Tom, let's have a good fight.", Bodyguard Tom just stood still.
Rim took the initiative to attack, he rushed forward. Since they already have a close distance, he got in front of Bodyguard Tom immediately. However, he was far too slow and already met a fist that was almost splitting the air straight to his face.
In a split second there, Rin closed his eyes and surprisingly dodged that one fast strike from Bodyguard Tom by bending his knees as fast as possible.
Rin then stepped backward and observed his opponents position again. It looked like that he just tested the water.
However, it was different from Bodyguard Tom. He looked at Rin and where his fist hit. There was a bit of shock that can be seen from his expression. He then stood straight again and wondered, 'I thought used I already used strength and speed there but it seemed that I didn't.'
Rin huffed, if his body was not restricted four times, then he could've dodged that without relying on the Natural Energy.
"I don't know how you did that but now, I realized what you mean…", Tom caressed his chin.
…..
Dragger woke up and saw an unfamiliar ceiling when he opened his eyes
"Huh? Argh!", he grunted when he sat up. He looked and noticed that his body was covered in bandages, especially in the face.
He looked above at the clock, above the wall: 5:36 am. It was already morning. He wondered why Mister Yita didn't wake him up and just left him.
Dragger badly wanted to get home at the moment since he have a wife and children waiting for him there.
He slowly stood up, feeling the pain all over the body. Dragger had a sudden memory of an arrogant kid beating him up flashed in his mind. His face turned ugly from frowning even though it was covered in bandages.
He then staggering exited through the only door from this little room and outside was a hallway and on the walls were doors.
'Must be the resting area…', Dragger sighed.
This should not be far from the stadium but where is the noise? The cheers and shouts from the audience?
On his right, he saw a dotted light, he decided to go there and when he got closer and closed, staggering, he started to hear something.
"What is seriously happening?"
It was a sound filled with doubt but at the same time awe.
"How can he stand up?! Look at his hoodie! It was white before, right?!"
"Is his blood bottomless?! Is he a human…?"
"No, that can't be right. Even a zombie would die from that."
Those words were said in complicated feelings but in all of that, there was a tinge of awe.
"He was dodging everything at first but when his opponent finally decided to use skills, he was supposed to be dead."
Dragger sweated from all these words that he was hearing. Closer and closer, the dotted became bigger and bigger until eventually, Dragger got out of the dark hallway.
It was the stadium, in the middle, the cage. Inside of it was blood splattered everywhere and a body was prostrating himself on the left side while the one whose clothes, suit and tie to be in tattered was heavily panting.
Dragger's eyes widened when he noticed the dark blue light flickering around the one in suit and tie. It was a Fourth Stage of Focus Practitioner? 'Why is a practitioner at that stage doing in here and on top of that, he was beaten up.'
He ignore the one body that was prostrated in the left side until it jerked and started to move slowly by pushing himself up.
It was Rin! Still with the koala hoodie and face mask but it seemed that it is starting to wear off.
Rin looked skinnier and had no energy what so ever but after he just closed his eyes and breath deeply I and out.
Tom frowned.
"What kind of breathing technique is that? Since he was always getting interrupted before but now that his opponent was tired, he can complete it now.
After a few breaths, Rin suddenly gain weight.
He took another stance, "I'm still not losing-", he tiredly said.
