Chapter 234: Operation

"Why did he give a missed call?" Nicole got out of the bathroom after taking a shower and looked at her phone. She could see a missed call from Jack.

"Let me dial his number." She swiped through the phone and finally called Jack's number.

"The number you are calling is either switched off or currently out of service..." A mechanical voice rang from the other side of the call.

"He just bought this new phone and now it's out of service?" Nicole raised her eyebrows. She then called him again and this time too his call was not connecting.

A frown appeared on her face. "Why did he switch off the phone after calling me?" She sat down on the bed and started thinking.

"I don't feel good about this.." A worried expression appeared on her face.

"I am not part of any grand scheme!" Jack said as she looked at Firn with anger flashing in his eyes.
