Chapter 14: Warm Inside
Sun Xi Zhao and Modesty continued to text and talk every day, It made him feel like he was on cloud nine. They even went out at least every two weeks, they had been doing so for a few months now. He wanted to confess his feelings for her and ask her to be his girlfriend, to be exclusive with him and get rid of Su Jin Wei. But before he could call her his friends called him to come and hang out with them. They had started to complain that he wasn't going out with them anymore. Then when he did go out with them, they complained that all he did was talk about Modesty. They asked him to come to one of the clubs to have some fun and they made him promise to not talk about Modesty. Sun Xi Zhao wasn't there an hour when one of his friends Da Fan Fan tried to send a couple of beautiful women his way. Everyone was shocked including himself when he turned the women down flat and proceeded to go home.
Halfway there he text Modesty to see if she wanted to grab a cup of coffee with him and he was excited that even though she was working late she agreed. Being around Modesty made him feel good, not just because he was slowly snatching her away from Su Jin Wei that was no longer a thought in his mind. But, because she was nice and sweet, she was easy to talk to, and she could read his moods like a book. It was almost as if she could read his mind. For her he wanted to drop his playboy image and spend his days and nights with her. She made him feel good, and when she smiled his heart felt warm inside.
