Chapter 8: First Mission
"What happened ?"asked Tyler as he walked into the room.
"I have a mission from for you,"said Mr Marcus.
"What's the mission ?"asked Tyler.
"First of all, we got intel from our inside man from LarsTech, he said that there is a virus in the new update of their app , the virus will run multiple programs at once that will cause the phone to overheat and blowup,"
"How many downloads do they have ?"
"Forty-million, so if you don't do this mission well and everybody gets the new update of the app, that's forty-million people gone,"
"Can't people just get the new update of the app right now ?"
"No, the update has not been uploaded yet, It's being uploaded tomorrow,"
"I have to do the mission this night because if I don't , we might not have any other chance"
"You have to come back in the night,"
"Ok,"said Tyler as he walked out of the room.
"Where are you going ?"asked Mr Marcus.
"I have classes in some minutes from now,"
"Ok, bye"
When Tyler had reached the island he took a taxi to school and immediately ran inside before the bell rang. When he arrived at class he saw there was no teacher in class so he sat down at the las row and brought out his laptop. He accessed the backdoor he made, so now he could see everything on the Entomi computer. He looked through people's file and saw powers he never knew existed. Since the teacher didn't come he spent the whole of the period looking through people's files.
The electric bell rang and everybody left the classroom. Tyler put his laptop in his bag then walked out of the classroom. While he was going down the hall he saw a familiar face. He walked over to her and said,"Do I know you from anywhere ?"
"Tyler is that you ?"
"Tasha, it's been so long, where have you been since you moved away ?"
Before she could say anything Tyler hugged her. Tyler and Tasha were best friends when they were younger until Tasha and her parents moved away.
"We got a lot of catching up to do," said Tyler.
"Why don't I come over to your place this evening."
"I'm busy this evening so why don't you come over tomorrow,"
"Okay, bye,"
Tyler checked his phone and saw that he had five more classes to go and most of three of them were thirty minutes classes and the rest were ten minutes. He checked which class he was meant to have and the classroom. He went to the class and took his sit and no teacher came for that class either. It made Tyler begin to wonder what was happening to the teachers he called Skyler since she was having a class and asked her if there was a teacher in her class and she said that there was no teacher in her class.
Tyler left the class and went into the teachers lounge and saw there was no teacher there then he called the principal and told him no teacher had come to school. The principal thanked Tyler for telling him the issue and told Tyler to tell James Lake to announce that school is closed for today. Tyler went over to James lake and told him that the principal said that he should that announce school is closed for today. James announced it and everybody went home. Tyler went to meet Skyler and they went home together. Tyler stayed in his room to rest and then Skyler came in.
"Hey"
"Do you wanna watch play cards ?"asked Skyler.
As they played they talked and Skyler and Tyler became really close. After hours of playing and talking Mr Marcus called Tyler and told Him to come over to the Spark HQ and prepare for the mission.
When he arrived at the Spark HQ he went over to Mr Marcus. Mr Marcus told him that Jason will follow on the mission. After that He told Tyler that he had to find out where they are keeping the new software, delete it and delete the original version so that they can't alter it. Tyler didn't like the way that sounded and he had another idea. He told Mr Marcus that that should copy the new software and send it to the Department of Technology Safety and they can shut it down and arrest the owner of app. Mr Marcus listened to Tyler and thought it was a good idea. After seconds of thinking Mr Marcus chose to go with Tyler's plan.
Mr Marcus led Jason and Tyler to the helipad where they saw the helicopter. Tyler and Jason entered it and it took off. Jason forgot to wear his sit belt so when the helicopter tilted he fell out then Tyler removed his sit belt and jumped out of the helicopter. He was able to catch Jason and he flew him back to the helicopter.
When they were over the building Tyler asked what the app name was and Jason told him it was Loptimizer. Tyler jumped out of the helicopter and landed on the glass roof he increased his hand temperature and melted a part of the glass big enough to let him and Jason through. While he was still on the room he scanned the building for the app and it was on the fist floor. Tyler notes that the building had five floors. He scanned the room for cameras and there were two cameras in the room. He blasted laser beams at the cameras, then him and Jason entered the room. They both used the elevator. While they where in the elevator it suddenly stopped and they could hear the alarm. Tyler used his teleportation powers to teleport him and Jason under the elevator. When he could hear people inside the elevator he teleported to the place outside the elevator with Jason, their Tyler closed the elevator door and used his super strength to destroy the elevator control so that nobody can get in or out. They used the staircase to get to the first floor. On the first floor there were many people shooting at them so Tyler blasted laser beams at the people while Jason used his lightsaber to attack the people who were shooting at them. While Tyler was blasting laser beams he saw a big water tank filled with fishes. He told Jason to get cover behind him and cover his ears. Jason did as Tyler said and Tyler used his sonic scream to break the glass and the water flooded the whole room then Tyler swam with Jason to the next room. There they saw a huge computer and Tyler searched the computer for the Loptimizer app. When he found the app he copied it into a flash drive then called Mr Marcus and told him that he is done with the mission and the helicopter should come and pick him.
Tyler teleported them both to the roof of the building and they climbed into the helicopter left. When try had gotten to Spark HQ Tyler gave the flash drive to Mr Marcus. Mr Marcus gave the flash drive to a man and told him to submit it to the Department of Technology Safety, then he went home and slept.
