Chapter 57: Chapter 57: Lala's Place

"And whom do I have the pleasure with, sirs?"

"Have you forgotten about me already Lala?" the old man took out his hat which revealed his square-shaped wrinkled face.

"Julito!" Lala shouted with gladness as she hugged her old friend.

"It is so good to see you! How long has it been? Was ut 30 or 40 years?" She said while giving the Dean a tight hug.

"It's over 35 years now Lala. But anyway, this small reunion would have been perfect if not of those snake ambushes along the way." Dean Julito spoke while patting out the mud and dust on his pants,

"Not to mention, the ridiculous road condition that I have no choice but to leave my car a couple of kilometers from here, those horrific mud tracks and countless beehives. Is this an enchanted place or something?"

Lala laughed heartily at Julito's remark of her place.
