Chapter 6: Chapter 5: New Crew Member
Lily thought hard where to go to find crew members. The world was full of people and she only wanted crew members that were determined. Her problem was that she had only ever been on this island. She knew a few people on the island who could join but were they willing to? One person she knew of was her uncle the one who trained her to fight and shoot.
"Maybe Uncle Scar would join my crew? He is one of the best fighters I know." Her uncle lived on an island near this island but the surface of the ground was black and he lived deep in a dead forest on the island. When she was younger her uncle lived on the same island as her. He trained her with swords and guns.
She sailed to the island he was on and docked the ship. The first thing she noticed was the water was a bit green. "What's up with this island? And why does Uncle live here?" Lily walked off her ship and onto the dock.
She looked around and saw the island had nothing. A trail led into the dead woods. She walked on the trail looking at the dead trees. The trees had black bark and seemed kinda burned. The smell was kinda like rotting flesh.
Lily almost threw up from the smell. She keep walking while gagging on the smell. After awhile she heard some rustling in the woods around her. A few black furred creatures ran through the woods. They kinda looked like badgers but they ran on their knuckles like apes.
Their teeth were sharp and their eyes glowed yellow. Lily saw these creatures running from a black dragon with scars all over its body it's eyes glowed green. One of the creatures had green flames covering its body while it ran away. Lily watched the dragon tear apart one of the creatures spraying it blood all over. "What a ruthless dragon."
The dragon noticed her and walked up to her. She looked it in the eyes. The woods were quiet. "Uncle!!!!! It's been awhile how are you?"
Lily said excitedly. Uncle scar turned back to his human form and smiled. "Lily what are you doing here? Does your mother know your here?" Uncle Scar said confused.
Lily hugged him and they walked towards his house. Lily told him everything that happen. He nodded. "So you're asking me to join your crew then. I have to do a few things before I agree."
Uncle Scar put barriers and spells around the house so that nothing could get in. He grabbed his sword the design had a dragon on it and had a gun combined into it. They left the house and the creatures from before were staring at the house. They saw the creatures circling around them. "These things are dumb aren't they."
Lily said. "Yup." Uncle Scar said. They both took out their swords and attacked the creatures. Blood and guts sprayed everywhere.
Bullet holes were left on the bodies and some had scorch marks on them. Soon they were left with the woods red. They walked to the docks and got on the ship. "Where to next my niece?" Scar asked. "To the grand city to find some adventure!!!" Lily said smiling.
