The group met with an unexpected guest at the base of the cave inside the mountain after they came down the passage, it was Nezha's father who arrived here before them. The man told everybody that he waited here per the patriarch order.
In fact, he secretly listened to the conversation between the patriarch and Nezha, following them and when he found a chance to sneaked in he secretly went in without map and anything else.
The third young master was a gifted child, not to the point of once in a hundred years genius but at least a person with a bright future ahead of himself. Yet he was spoiled rotten to the core by the doting father. Rough diamond was still a diamond without polished, his ability from his half-hearted at least was at a capable level of both magic and martial art.
He was lucky that this natural cave was not too complicated and most of the intersect would eventually lead them to the base. It would take a time longer than the right's path, though.
"What are you doing here?" Nezha asked.
"Hm!… I just follow father's order. Wh…" The man almost asking Nezha his reason to be here but stopped midway, as he was afraid that he may leak out the real reason he was here.
"He did not tell me about you accompany us to run away from the mountain." Nezha retorted but his slip of the tongue just gave the man a hint.
"eh… Father, no the patriarch…" he tried to stop himself from letting his surprise escape and came up with reasonable words with his quick wit. The man then saw a woman he frequently played with in the past. He stopped visited after he got a new toy but he still remembered the former village girl whose name he did not care to remember.
"You see, father did not want you to escape with your mother alone, a family had to be full with both parents and child." The man put on a serious expression and stressing his words with emotion, but inside he tried to figure out what was his son name.
"Is it Nene? no that was some woman I played name. Chacha? No, it just another woman name. And that woman, is she my fourth, fifth or sixth concubine? I can't remember. From the time she would be fourth but if I put on specific and it was wrong that would be trouble with my explanation." The man thought.
"Greeting Third uncle. This child pay respect to you." Nezha's female cousin greeted the man.
"This is it, I know this girl. " The man grinned at his luck, he did not pay attention to her much as she was at the middle of the female group.
Even if they came at an early time it would be no different, because the cave was inside the mountain with no sunlight approached. The light came from the torch giving not much of a surrounding and the dim light made people clearly saw only a few meters surround them.
"Ah! You are here too." The man remembered this girl very well, he did not remember many of his brothers' children or any other relatives but this girl was different.
This girl was the reason why he felt that the outside customs was far more appreciated.
Inside the Akkee sect, the clan followed the strict rules of tradition and prohibited cousin marriage, if that was not the case given a year or two and he would surely take this girl himself. But he planned to attack her later when she moved out and claimed it was a bandit.
"I directly received an order from father, so I don't know much of the outside circumstance. Now, that many of you are here, let us proceed according to order." The man loudly exclaimed. Although, he did not say anything of really important and avoided the question of Nezha the group did not cautious of him as the man was third young master and the group's leader father.
In a group of teenagers that were ordered to run away from home and their parents like this, an adult surely gave a kind of aura relieving their stress and fear.
Nezha was good with magic, smart and quite capable when fighting. However, Nezha was still a young boy not older than them much or in some case younger than some of them.
Even if the person blessed with amazing talent, a full grown adult would not follow the order of a young boy seriously. It was not that much different from Nezha's group. It was already good enough that they did not hold a grudge or despise Nezha from overshadowing them.
"Third uncle, it was good that you are here. We already receive patriarch order to recognize Nezha as the next patriarch who will lead our clan young people to rebuild the clan again, but seeing you here surely bringing us more confidence. Ah! I see! Granf… No, the patriarch must want you to act as the sect elder." This girl was sheltered inside the mountain never set foot outside and easily believe in this heinous third uncle of her.
"Hahaha. Yes, the patriarch worries that only boys and girls will not complete the goal. so he let me come and supervise you." The man followed what he heard to establish it as a fact, this indeed received the recognition of the other.
Nezha did not believe him but also could not find fault with his words, as Nezha also thought that the patriarch truly wish was for Nezha himself to lead the group into a safe place and rebuild Akkee sect.
It was wrong, though. It was true in a sense that the patriarch wished for the rebuilt of the clan but that was all that he wished for. What the patriarch truly wanted was for Nezha to think it by himself about what he wanted to do.
Just finish my busy schedule yesterday, to see Monday coming with another batch of works await.
