Brianna was lying unconscious on the bed on drip.
Mr.Jake sat beside her reading a book.
The door opened and Amy rushed in.
"Sir!Good afternoon!You were the one who called? Thank you for helping my Brianna"said Amy.
She was close to tears on seeing her friend's condition.
"She's unconscious but fine. According to the doctor."said Jake.
"Thank you very much sir"Amy said.
'Ok! I'll be going because i've got an appointment. She'll wake up in an hour. Keep her company and be sure to buy her whatever is her desire."he said and then handed $50 to her.
"Sir--this is too much. You've done a lot for us."cried Amy.
"This is vip"said Jake.
"I know sir.You didn't have to do this"
"Eish! I'll be leaving now"
"Em--what's in that bottle"
Amy pointed to a small bottle on top of the table.
"This is a tonic. She needs to drink it as soon as she wakes up."Jake explained.
Amy nodded and thanked Jake once again before he hurriedly left.
Amy then sat close to her bestie and held her left hand teary-eyed.
"Baby,what happened to you? How did you end up like this?"Amy asked the unconscious Brianna.
She began to weep profusely not noticing that Brianna's fingers moved slightly. After 15 minutes Brianna finally opened her eyes. Amy saw this and wiped her tears quickly.
"Brianna,your awake!"she exclaimed.
"Amy?"Brianna called weakly.
"Brianna i'm here"Amy reassured as she held her left hand more tightly.
