Avoid this novel unless you want to be completely infuriated by the worst male lead ever. Mentally and physically abusive to the female lead. He not only humiliates her but also destroys her friends. He also blames her and gets angry at her at his jealousy. I am completely shocked by the rating for this novel.

Like I still can't understand how this novel recieved such ratings because all the reviews I've read till now mention that this is a trash novel. Ok, the characters are all lovely in this book and I do admit the author tried their best but that ML has killed my love for well love. What I love about this book is how it kept me engaged with the drama but also how the FL kept on developing her strength and power it was really lovely but well the ML at the beginning was a narcist and not the best ML in the world but I liked how he ended up realizing and started working on it. Hope they have a happily ever (*^▽^*)
The FL had too much patience but there is a limit for that too. Now let's see how much patience does the ML has to capture her heart. He has to suffer everything she suffered once. Tit for tat......😉

Hah! First time ever I rated a story of 5 star.😁 I thought, I would get disappointed if I read this one because of some bad reviews but I really don't expect that I'd get hooked up! Couldn’t understand the back story, was very confusing. Female lead is stupid, male lead is stupid, the mistress is stupid. i was frustrated in every episode
This story is so doggone good!! The drama keeps you engaged from chapter to chapter. The slow burn development of the male lead’s awakening & realization of his feelings have you yelling at him out loud for the dumb s#&+ he says and does, while laughing at the predicaments he finds himself in as a result. I don't know what to say the ML in this novel is trash I don't know why FL never slap the hell out of him I only read 30 chapters because I was unable to read further it was frustrating 😤😤😤😤😤😤 I was still expecting may be Mr. Gu is not ML then I skipped some chapters when I reached 800th by skipping so many chapters I realized this trash is actually ML it was frustrating thank god I stopped reading I just want to give my honest review because this book really disgusting
Sometimes, I can't help but wonder if some of these authors have ever bn in a relationship or know the effects of abuse on a person. At least do some research. Love does not conquer all especially when it comes to verbal or physical abuse. In real life, most of these victims are not so lucky to get the guy to realize their mistakes. They are usually 6ft under while the dumb idiots end up in self pity. Stop selling abuse and rape as romantic. Nice concept if the author had made the second lead the main lead. After all, she went in thinking that the abuser was her savior. Or even make it a rebirth story where she dies and comes back for vengeance. I tortured my self till chapter 60 hoping that she ran away but then realized the synopsis. I gladly take this L for failing to comprehend on time.
