it was the month of July, my exams were finished. And I got busy with my boring life, reading books and novel, posting sad quotes of my own on my facebook page "HAUNTED TIMES". That time i was reading a novel "THE BOY WHO LOVED" by "DURJOY DUTTA" sir. It was suggested by Riya, she is a very good friend of mine. In short she's my soul sister. spoiler alert..!The Boy Who Loved" is the story of a school going boy called Raghu Ganguly who lives in Delhi with his family. On the outside, he is just your regular guy – loving parents, good academics, a respectable family with decent means. But that is just a façade. Deep down Raghu harbours a secret guilt – that he had let his friend down; he had let him die.Raghu likes to show that there is nothing remarkable about his life - loving middle-class parents, an elder brother he looks up to, and plans to study in an IIT. And that's how he wants things to seem - normal.
Deep down, however, the guilt of letting his closest friend drown in the school's swimming pool gnaws at him. And even as he punishes himself by hiding from the world and shying away from love and friendship, he feels drawn to the fascinating Brahmi - a girl quite like him, yet so different. No matter how hard Raghu tries not to, he begins to care ...
Then life throws him into the deep end and he has to face his worst fears. So yeah it was an amazing story.
It's strange that the absence of the person you love can make you do things, once seem impossible.
