Chapter 2: Golden Rose Garden - 002
Vi Lin automatically proceeded to explore everything she could, soaking in knowledge and the tutorial before her. There were plants with even more potent effects than even the domestic ones in her previous life.
She didn't allow this to get to her, though. She knew that if she rushed a delicate flower, it will wither before it's presented. Therefore, since this body is still young, she will take her time.
She wiped the pin with a gentle rub, and it shone, causing her to close her eyes momentarily. When she opened them once more, a large garden without plants was seen. A giant vending machine-like contraption was in front of her.
Walking up to it, it spoke. "Please select a flower, current oxygen points: 500. Each common flower is 100 points cost. Uncommon flower is worth 300 points cost. Rare and above are unavailable at this time."
She was slightly confused, but went on and selected five flowers. <Blue Wittle>, <Elimin>, and <Felta Bush>. The first two were common and the last was an uncommon.
<Blue Wittle> cures frost bite and keeps someone warm, it is commonly put within teas of commoners. <Elimin> is a minty leaf that cures headaches and migraines when chewed. Finally, <Fetla Bush> produces <Fetla Berries> that are poisonous, but they somehow cure a lot of types of venom when in an elixir.
She brought the small plants and placed them down on a rack that holds them in place. Every once in a while, a +1 drifts upwards and disappears soon after from each plant. With a look, satisfaction filled her up to her eyes.
She would gain more oxygen from the plants. More oxygen meant more points. More points meant more plants, probably even ones with stronger effects. Stronger effects meant more people she could save. She felt as if she had truly set a base line for strength.
Her pin flashed, causing her surprise. A tap later, a screen showed up. Her surprise eased as she looked at it. It was a notification that her plants started producing oxygen. Something that confused her, however, was that she had another screen that drifted off to the flank of the main one.
