The Royal Capital, or rather any place in Clover Kingdom, was basically one huge intricate maze of houses and buildings. If one didnt know the layout and wasn't used to walking along the streets, they could easliy get lost, which was precisely what was happening to Max as he ran into yet another dead end.
"God damn it, I thought this would be easier," Max said, leaning against the nearest building. He rubbed his face with his hands, feeling his patience wearing thin as if he had been at it for an hour even though it had only been about thirty minutes.
"Your pretty dumb you know," muttered Tilith, deciding that she had let him suffer for long enough. She had been watching his pitiful navigation skills for a while now and had found amusement from it for the first half, but slowly began to find it frustrating and rather pitiful.
"You could've just opened the System and asked for a small scale minimap of the city," She stated as if lecturing a stupid student.
"I figured that, but I wanted to see if I could do it myself, relying on others will only get you so far in life so I wanna do it on my own." Max explained with a small amount of frustration mixed in his voice.
"Suit yourself but its just plain idiocy to do things the way your going about them." Explained Tilith before going silent once again.
The whole time she had spoke, there hadn't been a single hint of condescension in her tone, which was actually a pleseant surprise.
"Okay, then let's keep on going," Max said, pushing himself off the wall and walking back the way he came. "Let's keep going and hope we arrive soon. I'm beginning to get rather hungry."
However despite saying this, Max continued to wander around, running into dead ends over and over again for almost a full hour until he finally hit a main street. The moment he saw people, Max almost cried as he stepped out into the main street, his eyes sparkling as ge glanced back and forth at the numerous people walking about their daily lives.
"Yes I did it, I made it back to civilization." Max cried out, a smile spreading across his face. His shout drew the attention of others, but only for a second after they saw his magic knight getup. They figured he was just a rookie magic knight and wasnt trying to make a scene. Instead they all stared at something behind them, at a figure with bright orange hair darting as if it was on fire.
The figure ran quickly, people quickly moving out of the way as it ran at a surprising speed. Max's back was turned, and while people in front of him were warning him about the incoming human bullet, he was too budy celebrating his own return from the infinite boredom he had faced.
At the last second though, Max turned around and put up two fingers, a sign of victory in many anime he had watched. In the end though, it wasn't his victory as the human bullet ran straight into his chest and sent them both sprawling onto the hard pavement, knocking the breath out of him.
Max groaned softly and opened his eyes, staring up at the clear blue sky. "Ugh, what happened?" He asked softly as he struggled to move, everything from his chest and downwards was unable to move sknce it was pinned down by a surprisingly warm body.
He looked down and saw a head of bright orange hair, a pair of yellow eyes and an altogether pretty face staring right back at him. 'Its a girl?' he thought. 'This seems like such a cliche'
The girl stared up at him with clear yellow eyes before seeming to realize what was happening and the postion they were in. She felt the strong arms wrapped around her waist and began blushing a deep red. She pushed herself off of his chest and sat next to him, her face now a pretty shade of scarlet.
"Are you hurt?" asked the girl, her hands clenched together and resting on her lap. It was easy to see that she was embarassed and the people around her that had been concerned before now left after seeing that the boy had opened his eyes.
'System' Max thought, taking his eyes off the beautiful girl and staring up at the sky. 'Analyze who she is and what magic squad she's from.'
Almost immediately as he thought it, a popup screen appeared in front of him, and it was a rather long one.

Name: Mimosa Vermillion
Age: 15
Birthday: 8/26
Affection: 76 (Crush)
Magic: 1002
Background: is a noblewoman of Clover Kingdom's House Vermillion and a 5th Class Intermediate Magic knights of the Golden Dawn and Royal knights squads.
Appearance: Mimosa is a 15-year-old girl with a voluptuous build. She has yellow eyes and long wavy vermilion hair with bangs on her forehead. Additionally, she also wears a pair of earrings on her ears.
As a noblewoman, Mimosa wears fancy attires which consist of a puffy cream-colored sweater with long sleeves, white puffy short pants, and a brown corset. Below the corset, she also wears another lighter brown-colored piece of fabric that has frilly edges. The corset is tied at the front with strings. Her footwear consists of a pair of boots that are tightly fit her legs and extends above her knees. They are light-colored and have a split at the top in which are kept together by strings. The boots also have frilly edges below the collars. On top of all of those, Mimosa also wears a dark red mantle, which has a white lining made of similar material as the rest of the mantle.
As a member of the Golden Dawn squad, Mimosa also wears the squad's signature robe on top of her attire. The robe is short and only covers her torso with a hood that has blue-colored fur around the edges. The robe also has a pair of teal ropes coming out of its left-hand side in which connect to the button on the right-hand side. The button also holds the robe together. Additionally, the squad's insignia is positioned at the left-hand side of the robe.
When she is young, Mimosa sports similar hairstyle but shorter extending above her shoulders. Her attires also have a heavy resemblance to her current attire.
Personality: Mimosa is a polite and sweet young girl who does not forget to show her smile when speaking to others. However, it has been noted that behind her smiles, she could also give a rude comment. Her behavior is slightly different than most nobles and royals who like belittling everyone who is inferior to them. Mimosa tends to look deeper than those nobles and royals and appreciate people according to their worth, such as her deep respect of Noelle Silva for her hard work when the other nobles and royals ridicule her for her lack of magic control and her growing affection for Asta and her desire to become stronger because of him.
She is also a rather clumsy person, especially during her childhood where she would hurt herself by tripping when there is nothing in her way.

'God fuckin dammit, I should've been more specific' Max thought, mentally slapping himself. Though it was all pretty accurate, it was way too detailed when all he wanted was a basic background. Though he did notice that there was one difference. Her eyes were green instead of yellow which kind of threw him off a bit.
"Um sir, are you alright?" Mimosa asked again, her tone shifting to one of concern that took the place of her earlier embarassment. She was worried that she had accidentally severely injured him with her running.
Max looked at her with his mix matched gold and red eyes and she stared right back, her eyes filled with concern. "I'm good, thank you." He sat up slowly and rubbed his forehead. "Also, my name isnt sir, its actually Max Dwayne."
Mimosa frowned slightly before standing up and shaking her head. "Well, I'm really sorry, but I'm sorta in a rush, I'm on my way to get a grimoire and I'm almost late. So if you'll plesse excuse me."
She turned around to leave but was stopped as Max stood up and moved in front of her, holding his hands up in front of him. She was slightly confused and more then a little impatient but she didnt push past him, allowing him to catch his breath.
"Why don't you take me with you?" He said after taking a couple of breaths. He didnt know why he was feeling so light headed, she hadn't hit him THAT hard. "I'm curious about who you are."
"My name is Mimosa Vermilion, and if you want to come along then that would be fine, as long as you dont slow me down." She brushed past him and broke into a light jog.
Max watched her jog for a short distance before jogging after her, easily catching up to her, prompting her to run faster as a response. Max easily kept pace with her even when she went all out. It was almost like magic, the fact that he was running so fast after being hit and he wasn't breaking so much as a drop of sweat.
"We're almost.....there" Mimosa panted out, tired from running, and pointed at the building in the distance. It was a large tower shaped building, neither grand nor dull, almost an exact replica like the one located in Hage village. This would mean that there was more then one place to recieve a grimoire.
"Thats the place then?" asked Max, speaking normally while running alongside Mimosa. "I thought the only one was in Hage village in the Forsaken realm."
"Do you expect everyone in Clover kingdom to head there to get one when they turn 15?" Mimosa asked with barely concealed frustration. "We have one situated in The Royal Capital that nobles and higher ups get theirs, and its conveniently placed so that even common people can get theirs here."
They had stopped just before the entrance which allowed Mimosa to talk without having to run. The door was slightly open and the sounds of voices could be heard from the inside.
"It seems that their about to start so, I'm going to head in now, feel free to wait out here for me or you can head back." She pushed open the door and looked back, a slight blush evident on her face. "Your pretty cute, thanks for walking me here." With that she stepped inside and closed the door behind her.
Max rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, that was unexpected." He said, a small smile spreading across his face.
