Hi, author here. I'm going to give this story 5 stars because it has everything I like in a story. Action, excitement, plot twists, interesting characters (hopefully), and much more. Wait, you're saying I like the story because I'm the one who wrote it? Nah, couldn't be. Jokes aside, this is my first attempt to write in this genre, though I've read plenty of stories of this type. My goal is to make a fun and exciting adventure that can be enjoyable to read and can sometimes subvert expectations. Even if I do use some cliches, I will at least try to explain them and make them seem more reasonable. Or, failing that, I may just make fun of the cliche as I use it. Anyways, I am easily encouraged by positive feedback, and I will try to take all feedback seriously, whether good or bad, so feel free to let me know what you think. As a side note, if you are reading and something seems randomly overpowered for no good reason, there's a decent chance that it will be explained later on, so please don't just assume I made the mc strong without a reason behind it. :)

I typically don't read this kind of book, so it's a stretch for me. I enjoyed learning about this world, sigils, and the main character's journey. I think the author does a nice job connecting us with the main character and his internal thoughts while always keeping the action moving.
