Chapter 19: Recruitment

We met in the gym for those who would want to be on the recon team. We got a preety good turn out, about a quarter of the settlement lined up. Us generals went into the library to do some research on spies and stayed up all night to create an apptitude test for the recruitment. Only those who passed the recruitment test could have the chance to take a physical exam to be truly recruited. The questions were designed to test a persons knowledge in deception and quick thinking. Everyone who lined up took the test but only 20 passed. So of those 20 we gave them some endurance tests. And of those 20 only 8 passed the physical. When the recruits had lined up against the gym wall I address them, "So you guys passed, now Daniel you barely passed the written test so you need to do some research. Justin you barely passed the physical test so get some exersize. But the rest of you got equal scores on both tests so it's good to have you all in the recon unit.". "The Generals have decided that the best room for you to set up our recon unit would be one of the science lecture rooms, I suggest one of the rooms closest to the main office. We need easy communication with you all." interjected Brandon.

"Can we take the rest of today off and meet up tommorrow Sirs?" asked Daniel.

"Yeah we need you guys prime to make a plan by 05:00, got it?" I commanded

"Yes General" they stated in unison.
