Climbs a thick but short sturdy looking tree.
(That was surprisingly easy. I think my physical strength has increased since coming to this world it's not that cold I don't think I would need fire
Now I think about it surviving without civilization will be very hard . The first problem would be language barrier but this feels like a fantasy world and I have been isekaied I might be able to communicate without learning their language. But better observe from a distance first. Should I fall asleep or stay awake? I am not feeling tired but I might not get the chance later but civilization should not be that far away as that party consisted of only 3 people and did not look like that they had a lot of supplies and I am not planning on living in forest for long time . Better stay alert if I die once it's over.)
Nothing happened He had small naps but not deep sleep
Shalmac (The forest was surprisingly quite I should have slept )
moves toward the adventurers camp . The adventurers started talking and probably planning .. They packed things up and started walking briskly.
Shalmac (I should follow them from a distance of 200 m to be safe. I am feeling hungry.)
The adventurers party after walking for 2 hours straight they reached a cave.
Shalmac (I am not able to see their facial expressions but they look tense)
The adventures entered the cave.
Shalmac (This cave looks huge I am not goanna follow them inside it might be dangerous.)
half an hour passes no sounds in the cave
Shalmac (F******K I have no way to get back to river I am hungry and thirsty .I might have reached civilization by following that river but I tried to follow these f**kers and they might be dead now
Don't panic Don't panic I should be productive let's try magic I might be able to make water.)
After imagining for 30 seconds and concentrating he is able to make a medium sized water ball and drinks from it
Shalmac(magic is too convenient.)
15 seconds later
Shalmac(Strange I still feel thirsty )
he makes a ball of water and hurls it on the ground . Water disappears after 15 seconds.
Shalmac(So the things created by magic are not permanent and would disappear after sometime if energy supply is stopped. I feel weak .Magic is pretty tiring)
he hears a stampede like sound and gets alert
A horde of ogres rush towards the cave wielding thick logs. They are green skinned fat tall and look strong their face is a mixture of ape and human.
Shalmac maintains his position on the tree silently clearly afraid.
for a whole twenty minutes various dreadful sounds come out from the cave. between the dreadful sound a female rouge dashed out from cave with slight bruises. After 10 minutes a magician exits the cave, Magicians leg is badly injured, shalmac is able to see some part of femur she is bleeding. The magician falls unconscious and faints.
after 2 minutes when shalmac is able to confirm that the atmosphere looks quite he goes near the magician. She is wearing leather armor but has a staff that only a magician from a rpg could find any use for.
Shalmac(I should burn her wound and bandage her to prevent infection but if the rouge sees me burn her wound and she had any alternative methods to heal her I might get attacked )
looks at her body bleeding is increasing and she has a cute face. shalmac feels empathy
Shalmac(She would die without my help. I should not be so self centered .)
He burns the wound using magic to seal and puts pressure on the wound it tears of his shirt and bandages the wound very tightly raises her leg above heart level basically does the first aid learnt at school. After her conditions
Shalmac (I should check the cave. )
Shalmac enter a cave it seems empty but sees a lot of dead orges now and then he sees the body of third adventurer he seems heavy built and very dead. Shalmac picks a red bottle and a water pouch from his corpse without any hesitation .
Shalmac(water finally ) He gulps down all water.
Shalmac(It looks like medicine. )
Shlmac pours some of it on his skin.
Shalmac(My skin feels soft and i can feel my fatigue going away it might be potion like in rpg. I should use this to help her.)
Shalmac rushes to the magician and pours the potion on her wound.The wound closes slowly in about 2 minutes but her leg is still in bad shape and bones are twisted .
Shalmac(I could have a lot of use for her if i rescue her she might be able to vouch for my identity when we reach civilization .I better hunt some food now.)
outside the cave shalmac sees a ordinary rabbit it goes down in one fireball.
Shalmac(Maybe i could drink its blood if needed I hope it does not have any pathogens.I should offer this to the mage after cooking it and pouring its blood in water pouch if doesn't effect her maybe I will try some)
Shalmac enters the cave.
