Since Mother left Valerie all alone she didn't know what she should do until she came back. So Valerie decided to check if the library door was left opened.
Once she crawled to the door, she pushes against it with her tiny hands.
Luckily, the library was left unopened and she crawled into the room.
The library looked even bigger, since no one was holding her up. It looked like the ceiling could just go up and up, forever.
She then slowly crawled to a book called "World maps" and tried to tug it out. She was able to get the book out with all her strength and energy her tiny body could contain.
She slowly flipped the page to a map. She could tell that the world she was currently in now, is the same world where she died.
She looked at the "made in" date which was she found out was 2027, which was the year she died.'Hmm looks like nothing changed... wait what..' As Valerie flipped to the next page, she noticed it said "made in year 2028" She flipped to the next page " Made in year 2029" she continued to look at the years it was made in as she flipped the book. The book finally ended in the year 2538.
' Wait... ITS BEEN 511 YEARS SINCE MY DEATH?!?!?!'
Valerie was astonished. 'Huh, and after all those years they still haven't made flying cars. How disappointing.' She then pulled out a book with her tiny hands called "The modern world by jean picquae" Valerie looked in the year that it was made, and it was made in 2535, which is pretty close to the year today.
She starts reading the book. She reads about the new technology that they have invented up until the year 2535, how the world peace concept is going, how politics are, etc.
Before Valerie knew it, she had been reading for 3 hours about the new world she was in. She finally finished the whole book and she then looked at the clock that was hanged on the wall.
She saw that it was 3:27 pm. 'I wonder where Mother went?' Valerie decided to crawl out of the Library and into the living room.
Mother was not there.
She crawled into the kitchen.
Mother was not there.
Valerie crawled all over in search for Mother, but she couldn't find her.
'Where had that crazy lady disappear to?' Since mother was no where to be found, Valerie decided to go back into the library and she read till she fell asleep.
She woke up the next day to find herself still on floor in the library. She fell asleep while reading a book called " One Afternoon" this book was about a man called Rein Markus and his everyday life. This book was a very peaceful and joyful book, which was perfect for Valerie to fall asleep to.
She then crawled out of the library room once more. She could see that her mother came home, because her favorite shoes were back in the same spot she always put them. Valerie wondered why her mother didn't try to find her and instead just left her in the library room. ' whatever that probably doesn't mean anything' Valerie thought. She could see in the living room that there was a grocery bag. Valerie wondered why she took so long to buy something. But then again, Valerie didn't really care about her mother. She was going to not be too close to her anyways so what's the point in caring about her?
Then, Valerie heard a light thud, as if someone just got out of bed. Then she heard light footsteps making their way towards the stairs and going down it.
Valerie could see that it was her mother, just getting out of bed.
" Oh my precious baby" she says as she runs and picks up Valerie, "Where were you?". Mother pulled Valerie close to her chest, hugging her.
" oh my child, it's time to carry out my plan to make him love me forever and ever!!"
